I hate to say it because I love Grayson but Gary and Marvin really seem like the most clutch players we have at the end of a game.

You shouldn’t hate to say it. Being a senior doesn’t automatically make you reliable in end game situations and being a freshman doesn’t necessarily make you unreliable. Those two with a little Wendell should always get a chance to score the ball under 2 minutes more so than anyone else on this team. I will say even though he doesn’t take the most clutch shots ever, Grayson makes some serious and heady hustle plays.

Either way, they are playing so together right now. It’s nice to finally see.

I still think AOC should be playing more than him.
Yeah but what's crazier than that is the garbage ever suggesting benching Grayson. Those saying that don't know difference between basketball and bowling.

It is funny we haven’t seen i psychosis or whatever his or her name is, oh yeah we are winning games right now. If he had it his way he would be in the starting five for his team and everyone would sit.

We’re splitting hairs. There’s been a whole lot of craziness. Grayson shouldn’t play or shoot, AOC over Gary, Goldwire starting at point guard, or one of the all-time best....we’re better without Bagley. Lots of circle-jumping this season.

I think Gary should have the ball in his hands during one possession games in crunch time. I wanted it to be Grayson, I believed it should have been Grayson, but I think Trent is best suited for that role. At this point I Trust Gary more. I’m somewhat disappointed that is the case because I see the talent Grayson has but I just don’t fully trust him at this juncture.

Gary rocked that mike like a vandal. Word. I like that Grayson and Gary took the late free throws. Gives us our best chance to win. And I liked fouling at the end. This is March Madness, so crazy late tying threes always seem to go in.

DJ, do you think it would have helped our team if Alex stole a bit more of Trevon's minutes last night?

I said it in the game thread last night - Trent is often an unsung hero. He's one of the most efficient scorers in the league, I bet.

Trent has a nice mid range game but tends to want to shoot 3's...he was 3-5 from mid range last night vs 2-8 from 3. He's big and can be a match up problem for smaller guards. I dont think we use his skills enough and think he could be our go to player when we are behind the shot clock. I'd like to see him be more assertive, I think he could surprise ks

Gary is a gamer. Not hitting the 3 he drives and hits big time free throws. Where's ipsychosis and others to add positive vibes after a win?

It’s not that we don’t use his skills he doesn’t take advantage of them. He likes to float around the 3 like Grayson did last night. We’ve got to have more drives. We should’ve fouled out Syracuse the second half but we started taking too many 3s

Problem is, Gary is our best, most clutch free throw shooter, but our shakiest ball handler. Trevon is our best ball handler, especially in traffic, but our worst free throw shooter. And Grayson, who used to be a great free throw shooter and very clutch and is a better ball handler than Gary, has become a bit inconsistent, especially in big games and on the front end of 1 and 1s. The only thing worse than a missed FT in an end of game situation is a live ball turnover, especially in the backcourt.

Gary is just great. His defense could be a better, but I love having him on the court, great kid and very well rounded offense.

Gary is out of position at times on D, but he has great hands ang gets a lot of steals/strips without fouling.
