We don't know that. We just pushed a true title contendor on their home floor without those 3 guys.
Having a healthy JQ down low to combat those Florida bigs, would have been a pretty big deal and if Pope can turn DA into a good pg from where he was in December, tells me he could have developed Lowe into the type of pg that works for what we need.
Pope chose to take a huge chance on an injured player and it backfired. That one is all on him.

I don't disagree, I feel liie he got too cute and thought he could roll the dice and take chances on pieces that didn't fit and guys that had major injury issues.
Hopefully he learned his lesson.

Yeah, I mean, he showed me enough in the St Johns game to tell me he has tremendous value.

And hey, if he ends up not playing well, it's fine, put him on the bench and go back to what we were doing before.

The mental gymnastics on here are amazing to me. People hate Pope so much that they're trying to convince everyone that JQ, Kam and Lowe all suck and wouldn't help at all.
I’d love to have all three healthy and game ready. We would be rocking and rolling by now. Hopefully next season we don’t have the injury issues and get to play the entire season with the group brought in the win a championship. I wish we would’ve had a second point guard to backup Lowe to begin the season but overall, if healthy I liked this team. Going to be an interesting offseason for sure.

That’s what ticks me off about him. He can be good but against good front lines he just disappears. We can’t afford that.
Against physical centers he can be found switching out on the opposing PG as often as possible. If not, always look BEHIND the toughest guy when a shot goes up....that's where he'll be hiding. He just doesn't seem to want to fight for a rebound against a physical player.

He’s my least favorite player in a long time

I feel the same way. Moreno should take a big step next year and I am fine with Jelavic and Potter eating the rest of the 10-15 MPG at the 5 when Moreno is out.

Maybe get a freshman Cyril/Onyenso type as a backup.

What I struggle with is how he and the staff arrived at their decisions. Were they truly excited and comfortable with them ??
