I give him credit. Moreno was bad, BG stepped up. I want to see two games in a row of this BG
Maybe he will be like Nick Richards who was horrible, but then all of a sudden became amazing halfway through the year.Garrison catching fire bout to be this season's "tweak."
Because he's just not very good that's why we moan everytime he's in the game and $H!t our pants when he does this. Because believe me we all have moaned and grunted more at his play than took the ole dump in the drawers. He’s usually terrible. He’s had exactly two great games this year. Why doesn’t he do that more often?
Ummm he doesn't thrive against bigs look at the stats he is mediocre I want him to do great but he had someone 6"7 on him 90% of the time and shot a baby hook. This is the Garrison we expected coming back this offseason. Dude has enough talent just needs to be more consistent. He thrives against athletic big and I think he can have a game like this against Missouri tomorrow. Malachi was terrible and BG came through. Happy for him because it has been a very frustrating year for him.
He played one of his top 5 games today if not we go home. Pleasantly surprised how well he played now he needs to do it Thursday.Had to work so missed the game. Watched highlights on YouTube and BG looked very comfortable with that baby hook or turnaround floater. Looked like money.
Same could be said about you, though..and here ya are. He’s usually terrible. He’s had exactly two great games this year. Why doesn’t he do that more often?
I hope he continues to play good.Garrison is better on the court than he is on here. All season long. He needs to be better but hes always been good to anyone that doesn't check here to form their own honest opinion.
He was good today! Let's hope he keeps it up. In fact...nevermind. He was good today.
Me too, but he hasn't been as bad as people on here would like for everyone to think, all season. I didn't say he was perfect but hes definitely been the whipping boy on here and a lot has been undeserved. Glad to see him look good today!I hope he continues to play good.
I’m referring to smaller athletic centers. Teams such as Oklahoma, Texas a&m, and this LSU team, he does much better. Physical bigs like Florida he struggles. Nothing wrong with a hook when you are three feet from the basket, 3 inches taller, and it goes in.Ummm he doesn't thrive against bigs look at the stats he is mediocre I want him to do great but he had someone 6"7 on him 90% of the time and shot a baby hook.
He'll take at least one lolHe's coming out gunning tomorrow. Buckle up!
Our coaches should be working with him on that jump hook in practice religiously.I’m referring to smaller athletic centers. Teams such as Oklahoma, Texas a&m, and this LSU team, he does much better. I guarantee you they do, but today he actually had some touch on it. Usually he just chucks it at the rim/backboard.Our coaches should be working with him on that jump hook in practice religiously.
He played well mostly today. I know those 2 threes went in, but, honestly, there’s a reason why he’s left open for them. When he plays with a motor, he can be an asset. The threes were huge. He also made a few nice jump hooks. He still doesn’t block anyone out, and gets the ball taken away too easily. Overall, he probably saved us today though.Anyone going to give Brandon some credit?
Can somebody bump the thread where not a single fan on here picked him in that poll for five most wanted returnees
One game doesn’t offset dozens of other games he was a liability. Nice try though. Can somebody bump the thread where not a single fan on here picked him in that poll for five most wanted returnees
I wasn’t trying anything. I said what I said back then before today:One game doesn’t offset dozens of other games he was a liability. Nice try though.
Let‘s see how hard he plays tomorrow.
I thought he played one of his best games of the season, he looked more like he did last year.Anyone going to give Brandon some credit?
Same could be said about you, though..and here ya are.
He played a great game. I’d love to see him play like this way more often. Engaged and make shots at the rim. Contesting shots.I thought he played one of his best games of the season, he looked more like he did last year.
I would too, but he seems to get lost at times against some teams, so far he played better last season overall than this season, but the ability is there, he just needs to bring it like he did against LSU.He played a great game. Hi DadAgreed he needs offensive consistency. But... he has a near elite skill in his ability move his feet on defense for a big man. He can guard a pg on perimeter. They don't even try to challenge him anymore
He doesn't get to play a team of midgets every game, unfortunately. He played good today. But he has to every game lol
I've been hard on BG for 2 years now. But IMO, he was the MVP of this game.Anyone going to give Brandon some credit?
This is how I thought he would play this season. But couldn't have come at a better time.I've been hard on BG for 2 years now. But IMO, he was the MVP of this game.
Might drop back to average passer for centerAs of now, Garrison is what he is. Elite perimeter defender, above average interior defender, rebounder and passer, below average ball handler and offensive awareness. I really want him back next year. You should too
