Brooks is a fantastic player, if it's 1985 and you don't already have 43 big men on the roster. If he comes you've got to lose some guys. And I guess that's fine, for these days. Kids will be playing for a different team by the week at this rate.

Ashton Hagans Andrew Harrison and Tyler Ulis ring a bell. You can hit the portal hard all you want, today there isn't a single PG that is going have a bigger impact than Mintz. Theres a delusion around here that some magical unicorn PG will enter the portal and come here. If they were that great 9/10 times they wouldn't be transferring. The only unicorn PG left out is Hardy and he's probably not coming. Cal needs to focus on building some semblance of depth at guard in general bc without it we are royals screwed. Mintz looks like the probably starting PG Idk what to tell you chief. If Mintz feels hes been "recruited over" He'll probably transfer anyways.

Ok so I was trying to be nice and write you up a list why I think what I think and you turn around with that. So here we go.

3/12..... Uh you get that if they return thats another year which would either multiply the numerator by 2 making it 6/12 (years started) or divide the denominator by 2 making it 3/6 and I didn't even mention Quade green who was also a player who returned and started at the PG for UK before transferring halfway through the season which would up your awesome calculation to 7.5/12 seasons have been by returning PGs. Cal plays his returners unless they leave after their Frosh year. It's a pretty proven concept. And if Mintz starts PG next year I guess you could even add him.

Nobody said Cal was a terrible coach. Duke is not a personal measuring stick. Even if it was Duke didn't go 9-16 and staring at bare cupboard. I will say Cal is looking at a hell of an upcoming battle this season to appease fans after last season.

I agree but fans need to realize last year had some unusual circumstances. If we have another year like last year then there is reason for concern.

Not true. Cal only had pressure to play allen bc we lacked shooting from 3 from any other player.

9-16 this year. 2013, first round NIT loss. 2016, nine losses and second round exit. 2018, 11 losses and lose to Kansas St when the bracket was wide open. He's had some good years no doubt. He's also had several clunkers very similar to the Tubby years and we ran him outta here. In fact Tubby had a better record his last five years than Cal. And Cal is 22-23 against the top 25 in the last five years. Fans are not just pissed about one bad year. Wake up.
