Not sure how I feel about the promo video in the beginning of each game. Seems a little corny, although I like the idea of promoting Rutgers as NJs state school. Thoughts?

It is a little corny, yes. Was hoping when I saw it posted here prior to the first game that it wasn’t the pre game intro video at the RAC this year, but it is. Whatever.

Seems like more a "get hyped for this season" than "get hyped for this game."

Need new video with all the new guys... they've given us enough highlights already.

I like it. Living in Texas for the last 25 years everything I hear is about the Lone Star State so having a Garden Statement has a ring to it.

If you know NJ is the garden state it makes sense. If you don’t know that it may seem lame.

its probably the best promo we have had since we got the scoreboard and started doing these.not sure what people are expecting them to do for a program that has not had a winning season in eons

I like it but I think by January you need to include Kiss, Johnson, Mathis and Harper. Seems only fair.

By January I am not going to be thinking of what happened at MSG. Not even thinking about it now actually, enjoying this team too much. I agree, should have a new video soon with the new guys. But it's just an intro video anyways.

The best promo is winning basketball games.

A lot of people on this Board (including you) were critical of almost any attempt by Athletics to get people in the seats for MBB games.

They had a really hard job trying to sell the product considering how bad it was.

I’ll take winning over “excitement” any day.

Seems more like a recruiting video. I'd rather see more game highlights
...something punchier for a pre-game psyche.

how can they have game highlights when there were no games played...it was the 2nd home game, its a totally different team from last year. I am sure at some point they do an update later in the year

Game highlights from last year would work....feature Geo and Eugene until we get enough from this year. To me it's about getting the game crowd into a frenzy.
