The young man's name, Ryne Woods, rings quite a bell.
There's the famous Ryan's Woods on the south side of Chicago -- north and south of 87th street roughly from Damen to Rocklwell. It's a great site for picnics, toboganning, and all sorts of outdoor sports. The official name is Dan Ryan's Woods. (A nobody politician who got an expressway named for him, as well.)
