Basketball GAMEDAY THREAD: Rutgers versus St. Peter's

[Corycord1]

Pike cant play these 3 together

I said this before. But got killed for it. Playing two bigs with no outside threat is such 1970’s basketball

[zebnatto]

AH trying to do way too much. Would you refer AW.

[GM]

Lineups are bad so far.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Mag sighting in sweats by water cooler

Pike should make a statement on his status postgame

[tfio]

Gavin open waiting for the pass but of course Hyatt has to take the contested shot himself

[dudehimself3]

Leadership

[BillyC80]

Derek is on tonight

[Bobbynieds]

Derek on fire from 3.....2 for 2

[FmrMgrRU]

Why would Fernandes get in his face? Is he stupid?

[Bobbynieds]

cliff is 0-4

On cue, gets a slam

18-9 RU

[shields]

Way to go Simpson .

[bac2therac]

Our defense has been scintillating!

[FmrMgrRU]

Damn that was a nice dish by Wolf

[mildone_rivals]

U R? 🫤

[GoodOl'Rutgers]

announcer surprised woolfolk a factor in trap? He ain't some lumberimg oaf big man.. he played football!

He is the key to a press imho.. like Rashod Kent was.. freevsafty

[Corycord1]

Why would Fernandes get in his face? Is he stupid?

?? What. Love the passion. If the other team is talking trash I’m all for giving it back

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Yep
Wait for the SHU game.
There will be a ton of trash talking

[dudehimself3]

Gavin needs more minutes

[bac2therac]

It should be 30-9 not 18-9

[bac2therac]

Our offense blows

2 selfish takes..the inevitable free throw miss by Wolf and Cliff not able to hit 3 ft away over midgets

[dudehimself3]

Cliff stinks. Just a soft guy

[richthedentist]

I said this before. But got killed for it. Playing two bigs with no outside threat is such 1970’s basketball

Agreed we have no offense with the two of them in
Cliff just no offensive game

[Bobbynieds]

only person looking to dish when they drive is gavin

[richthedentist]

Gavin needs more minutes

He has to start we are lucky to score in the first 4 minutes

[bac2therac]

St Peters is terrible and we are running a ****** out of control offense

[bac2therac]

He has to start we are lucky to score in the first 4 minutes

Gavin absolutely should be starting. Pike should be done with experiments already

[Bobbynieds]

20-15
Derek coming back to reality.
Drives with head down and misses open gavin at 3 line

[MS-RU]

This is horrendous. How is it possible to not have anyone who can score consistently or at least make a good pass to an open teammate?

[Bobbynieds]

this is a halftime, exit the message board type of game

[dudehimself3]

This is brutal to watch

[tfio]

Out of control missed layups are our specialty

[Corycord1]

St. Peter’s fouls a ton, lucky they haven’t been called for 20+ fouls this half. Hopefully there’s more of a whistle in the second half

[bac2therac]

Another horrendous night at line

[G- RUnit]

We look awful.

[RUsty Screw75]

Out of control missed layups are our specialty

We can't shoot and we can't rebound. St. Peters killing us on the boards

[bac2therac]

2 pts 6 minutes

[richthedentist]

St. Peter’s with 10 turnovers but out rebounding Rutgers 24-9 that’s pathetic

[Bobbynieds]

1 from 5 from the line

[MS-RU]

1-5 FTs. Embarrassing.

[RU82]

We’re getting annihilated on the boards.

Shameful
