Don't see why it would. Both starters have already had plenty of rest, and neither of the guys who started the first game would be properly rested with the one extra day. Rocker is the clear #2. If we were interested in starting Ginn instead, we could have done it today.

Friday will be 3 weeks since Ginn pitched against Southern. Saturday will be 2 weeks since Plumlee pitched against Stanford. Both are well above their normal rest periods already.

I'd rather too much rest than too little. If playing tonight would have been tougher on Rocker, I'd have been bummed about the delay, but he's had plenty of rest as well.

In any case, I'm sure all have had appropriate bullpen action to keep them from getting too rusty, even if it's not the same as live action.

So I'd say don't count on a 1:00 ct start for us.
