These referees are awful. Throwing a flag on our bench for objecting over their obviously wrong call which they then changed. Ridiculous.

Impressive punt by Day. (sarcasm)

I've seen lots of short punts during my lifetime, but I don't think I've ever seen anything like that.

He kicked the ground before he kicked the ball. I have never in my life seen that before on a punt.

Maybe, but all I saw was him wind up and then just kick the ground at full impact. Absolutely like a chunked wedge shot where you hit the turf a foot behind the ball with your sand wedge.

Not that over ever done that....

It's about this stage, that having a lot of Seniors may kick in,

Their last rodeo, and wanting to finish out strong.

Jeez. The guy was absolutely riding on Austin Williams back. That’s an easy call.

Yep, that wasn’t “letting them play” as the commentator was saying, it was a blatant hold/pass interference/grab... basically whatever you feel like calling

Big 10 officiating crew. Guess they didn’t get enough practice this year due to their teams’ 5 game schedules

Don’t forget the knee in the back after that play. Tulsa is playing dirty.

Cost us an extra 40 yards, and then he flat gave up after the receiver got past him. Weak

Agree.

Preston should have nailed the receiver right after the catch and driven him into the ground.

Instead, Preston does the following:
- waits for the receiver to run to him after the catch;
- hits (correction, paddy-cakes) the receiver WAY too high;
- doesn't even try to wrap-up the receiver;
- permits the receiver to just run away from him; and
- just jogs downfield after the receiver easily runs away from him.

Preston's level of effort on that play was around 25%.

Nowhere near 100%.

That was pretty petty to call that bump a blindside block. Almost like they wanted to make sure we didn't seal the deal.

#12 for us tackles like a girl.

Thus, at halftime, we need to give him another jersey with a different number.

Everybody knows that #12 belongs to the best player on the team.

Touchdown . . . on a pass thrown right over Preston's head.

Isn't the safety's #1 rule don't let anybody get behind you?

And does Rogers realize that it’s not illegal to move?

The hardest part for me this season has been so used to have mobile QBs that I've screamed "just run it" before remembering that we had Costello and Rogers. That's not meant to be an insult; I'm just gotten in the habit of our QBs tucking and running when no one was open in 2 seconds.
