Northwestern (2-0) hosts Western Michigan (0-2) tonight at Welsh-Ryan Arena at 7 p.m. The game will air on B1G+

The Wildcats are heavily favored at -23.5, their biggest margin of the season.

Like Binghamton we are just making a lot of defensive mistakes. They are still not scoring at any great rate because W MI is just a bad team.

Brutal rebounding differential that half. And after much was made about the team effort to gang rebound.

What an ugly first half. Not an entertaining game at all.

I kind of get it. Some nights it’s hard to get going when there like 900 people in the building. It’s quiet, the opponent is crappy. Just going through the motions, hard to get intensity going.

They are winning the rebounding battle 25 to 11 at half. That's just effort.

Lanborg looks tired shots are short.

I have no TV to watch tonight, WGN radio streaming not working. Listening to WNUR, and the commercials I'm hearing have sports promos advertising an interview with, of all people "NU Quarterback Carl Richardson." You would think they would record a new promo.

Good grief. It’s a one-point game. Being outscored 15-9 so far in the second half. Trying not to overreact but that’s disappointing.

Need a third cat to start scoring here.

Their 12 seems a bit prima donaish, had a bit of a tizzy at not getting the ball and is getting grabby
