I haven’t seen it mentioned but our NTs (Stevenson and Player) are dominating the middle. There’s very little room to run there which is why we keep seeing the USF backs bouncing outside.

USF keeps throwing the ball deep but the WRs have no separation on the DBs. McCants kills people and we’re covering him tightly with a safety.

Thomas Bennett is our MVP right now. 5 punts for a 54 yd avg. that’s ridiculous.
He has has some bad throws but not throwing it poorly overall. He’s had a few drops & a few throw aways. He’s playing a good game so far.

I think Hines did the math and it was 70% chance of an inside run on 1st down.
Again, zone read runs can’t consistently work if the QB only keeps it 10% of the time.

Because that has been the run that has worked for Thomas all game. USF crashed that side and blew the play up
