Caleb putting on a hustle clinic and Paul with the sweet lob for the flush by Myles. What a sequence.

When Paul is in our halfcourt offense looks great. The quicker he can get up to speed and be comfortable against real competition the quicker RU can get to the dance

And people were worried about this game? Blowout city. 27-6. Caldwell wlll be even more of a scrimmage - we better get the walk-ons and Kiss/Doucoure some minutes in that game. And then the fun begins.

Well in fairness Lafayette is in top 3 shooting 3s.

Getting out to a quick start and bottling them up on D a huge factor today in absolutely snuffing them

They haven’t faced a D like ours. I don’t know how Pike did it, but he was legit worried that our D was well behind our offense. Damn if he doesn’t get guys to buy in.

There has to be some teams out there that never fast break and it's still better than us. Just don't have those type players that finish.

Its hard to be upset with that half, but our lack 3 point shooting is going to handcuff us once again in the B1G

Jacob Young comes in and we go from 70% shooting to missing 9 of last 10 shots. 4 on 5 with him in

Amazing first half by RU, especially defensively. 33-13. Holding them to 25% from the field and outrebounding them 22-14. And shooting 52% ourselves. Very little to not like.

Great observation by announcers. "Reckless"

Getting selfish and foolish last 5 mins. Went completely away from what got the lead.
Go up by 30 and save that crap for last 5 of game. Not the half.
Get control pike.
You think laf. Will shoot this bad 2nd half?

Great first half but we should be up by 30. No need to rush the transition on such an overmatched team. Way too sloppy. I think they clean that up and put up a 50 spot in the second half.

I know we need Young’s D when we get into the teeth of conference play, but he has got to leave half of his ego on the bench when he steps on the court. The half that controls his offensive mindset.

Its nitpicking but that was a poor finish to the half offensively. RU was held scoreless for the last 5 minutes by a poor defensive team. A little too much showboating and outside shots. Doesn't look like Yeboah has his shot today. Young already has 3 turnovers and RU has 9 total which is way too many vs a team like Lafayette

That said the defense remains oppressive and we lead by 20.

Want to see Young play under control in the 2nd half...ditto for Mathis and Carter. I think id like to see things specifically worked on after the first team builds on the league to start the 2nd half

Again here is a game where he continues to underwhelm

Agree...Pretty poor numbers today. I dont want RU shooting anymore 3s today..no reason too for this game

If you're going to dog a player, throw Mathis in there too. He's done nothing this half.

Agree..his weakness that we know showing today..not playing within himself...same for Yeboah..i dont want him shooting if hes goi g going to clank shots. Once RU cleans these weaknesses up and everyone plays to their strengths we will be a top 25 team

on the contrary I would like us in a game that we have complete control that we run some plays to get guys open 3s and see if they cna make them
