One game at a time we are still alive. Hopefully AC gets back on the field next week.

2 game balls, Abraham on D for that tackle. And Noah on O for his overall performance. Make it three - Korsak.

Watching playback (confirmed what I thought watching game)…. On Illinois 2nd td there was a big OL (#79) waaaaaaay downfield before the throw and THEN he obviously held

was that discussed on here ?

Maryland (now 5-3) just beat Indiana (now 2-6) 38-35. Rutgers still may have a shot against both. Next Wisconsin, then Indiana, PSU, Maryland. Stay healthy.

Maryland still has to play PSU, MSU and Michigan before the finale at Rutgers. They could easily be 5-6 and have lost 6 of their last 7. IF Rutgers can win the Indiana game, then it could be RU and MD in need of victory for a Bowl bid.

Can the haters stop killing Vedral now. He is not great but there is a huge difference between the way the offense plays with him rather than Snyder.
Guilty as charged. I was dead wrong.
Can’t wait to see the gutsy spirited play and leadership next week.

We've seen the future and that QB looks like a winner that will help RU turn the corner next year.
One play doesn't guarantee success, but it had a big part in helping RU win today , along with the way D played .
RU Johnny came through today, with a big catch, and Noah proved to have the heart of a winner.

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but while the run blocking clearly was better the pass protection still needs work.
The blocking was nowhere near great, but we had far fewer missed key blocks than two weeks ago. Was more a case of the OL not regularly getting a good push on inside runs, and not holding back the pass rush very long. But we got some push on some running plays and got the QBs some time on some plays.

So the blocking was good enough to win, especially with how well the QB room played, especially Vedral who had a really strong game, IMO.

My feel for this game was off and I’m glad

RU caught them at the right time coming off a bye week and Illinois right after a physicallly draining game at pen st

Really bad announcers. They weren’t annoying, as some are. But the whole game it was just yapping about player stats and anecdotes. No talking about the game itself. Not until the failed 4th down conversion on the Illini final drive did it even occur to them that there was a game on the line, and that drive was kinda important. They made it boring.

True but both NV and CS had the same blocking today and NV was far better at generating offense.....
in all fairness to cole.....it was the first time he had reps in a big ten game.....maybe he had the yips....i know i'm making an excuse for his play...but,.a few series is a small sample to see if he has what it takes....just saying.
