We’ve gotten very lucky to not turn the ball over twice so far. One time on a run, one by a poor throw by Snyder. This is a game we can win. But gotta do better at protecting the ball.

That is a play we could learn from. We run so many of those stupid WR screen passes but it’s 2 on 2 so the one WR block his man, and by the time the pass gets to our 2nd WR his man is there for the tackle, loss or 1-2 yard gain … Illinois sent the TE out in motion right before the snap so he goes and blocks the 2nd CB, now your WR can run free.

lucky for us Izien made a great move otherwise it’s a 20 yard gain

Could have any QB on the planet. If our OL cannot block long enough for our WRs to get open, there’s not much any QB could do except run. And both Vedral and Snyder have running first downs in this game.

Agree. From articles I've read, theses things are about numbers, if you have even or the advantage, those throws should be automatic. Our problem is it always seems we don't have the numbers.
