Basketball GAME THREAD: Rutgers Hoops vs. Iowa

[RU MAN]

Sorry but don’t agree. RHJ is in pout mode.

Pout mood, yes. The other, agree to disagree.

[zebnatto]

RH Sr. Has an opinion:

Watching Rutger and Iowa game both big guys 2 fouls in the first 7 mins?
@BigTenNetwork
nice homer zebras!!!!!!

[RUsojo]

Don’t like going zone glad we’re out of it

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Make a friggin FT Paul

[RU848789]

WTF Ron?

[mildone_rivals]

Myles just got lucky to not get another foul called on the reach in.

[Jackson206:)]

Harper is playing like a mid major player.

[RU Mike73]

Guess we aren’t going to guard the 3 this half either.

[zappaa]

RHJ slow as molasses

[RU MAN]

If I'm Pike I sit Ron. Teach him a lesson.

[Roy_Faulker]

Can’t win if we can’t hit a 3

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

It's a about shooting now

[bac2therac]

well now of a sudden they are hitting everything

[RU MAN]

Great now we're not guarding the three. Geez.

[RUsojo]

LOVE that transition 3 from baker

[RU848789]

Dagger trey there by McCaffery at the end of the shot clock

[Zak57]

2 long 3's right at the end of the clock.

[FrankZ_RU93]

Must be nice to see your team knock down 3s with ease

[koleszar]

WE SUCK. Can't hit a wide open three to save their lives.

[RU MAN]

G-damnit Paul take the open shot.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

A total mess

[tfio]

Imagine we could make wide open 3s. Damn we’d be pretty good

[RUsojo]

McConnell had his first and only good offensive performance last week now he’s taking way too many shots

[IL Lusciato]

All the children of the corn have is 3s. Very frustrating.

[RU MAN]

Where's the perimeter defense? My god.

[PiscatawayMike]

We have our work cut out for us...

[RUJMM78]

Iowa killing Rutgers with 3 pointers.

[RUby RED]

When McConnell is off, he is OFF

[PatrickRU92]

trading 2 for 3. hmm let me do the math here.....

.....

yup. we'll lose everytime

[Jackson206:)]

Convinced this team can’t handle success. Win a few games by playing well and follow it up with shite the bed. Weak mentally.

[Plum Street]

Mcconell has been terribile

[FrankZ_RU93]

7-14 from 3 vs 1-15, lol

[Caliknight]

They can shoot. We can't. Basketball is an offensive game. The defensive mentality is great, but you have to be able to score. We simply can't do it with any consistency.

Pike, find out who Iowa is recruiting and get a couple of those guys. They are sorely needed.

[bac2therac]

well there it is right there...Myles gets a potential game changer down to 9, Bohannon takes wild unnecessary shot..we have all the momentum, we fumble around on a break and then pass it and rebound it and then Caleb just atrocious decison there as if we could not just attack...our team is playing scared..wtf is wrong with them.

that could be the game decider right there that sequence

[rubjk]

Myles gets called too much and Garza gets called too little. Still needs to play more under control when he’s in danger.

This year I’ve never seen Myles out of control.

[jersey07080]

Sadly we aren't even playing bad D this half.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Iowa is excellent with spacing and finding open shooters

Oh, and they drain their shots

[RU MAN]

And just like that Iowa hits 4 threes. Great. Just great.

[ClassOf02v.2]

One team is hitting threes, the other is not. Simple as that.

[RU Mike73]

My kingdom for a shooter.
