Sorry, but this isn't little league and everyone gets a participant trophy. He was recruited for just these situations and his *** cheeks pucker up more than ANY outside shooter I've seen at Rutgers. The kid just doesn't have it.

Blame this horrible staff. The ones cashing checks but phoning it in

Georgetown and UCLA and ND had same problem. Most of you guys thought we would lose by 20.

I sure did. I have zero confidence in this team pulling out a game like this. That being said, this doesn't mean we won't lose to Lowell or FDU We are a very bad team that played fairly well today. In the big picture, we just lost to Monmouth ...at home.

Effort was there. Eddie coached a good game. RAC briefly was alive. We did better than expected

We showed toughness and flashes of starting to play more as a team-just don't have the shooters and too short of a bench. Hope Freeman gets well soon.

Yes I saw 77-55 I believe. Shooting has to get better, Lewis with his bricks. And Daniels have no confidence.

The team didn't give up when they were down in the 2nd half. A lot of credit for not losing focus.

Team really played hard & with heart on both sides of the ball. Agreed, shooters & bench a problem.

williams missed a few wide open threes. He came here as a shooter, but hasn't demonstrated in yet at the banks. He hits those threes we win.

I did not like going away from zone at the very end on two possessions, but, I think it was to guard against the open 3 point shooters...especially Robinson. In a tied game you really don't want to give up a three....so I understand the tactic.

Williams is a soph and had opportunities today....played well and is absolutely a B1G caliber player on both ends of the court. If anyone gets it, it's him, he'll get better as his career goes forward, but given the rest of the roster, he's going to get opportunities here, might as well get used to him getting better.

Once Nigel Johnson is here and Williams is reslotted properly as the 3rd guard, he'll be better off for it. Daniels is a senior and has moments that give you confidence that Williams will get better.

Rest of the team played as well as you can...they started to defend much too late in the 2nd half, maybe they can carry that effort for a few minutes today, for a first and 2nd half in the next couple of games. Can't win games giving up 70-80 points a night....

I thought Daniels played within himself and had one of his better games. The kid is more than capable of playing this way all of the time. He and Corey basically kept us in the game and contributed mightily to our comeback late in the second half. Good job. Daniels needs to play this way all of the time and not feel he has to do everything. When he does, that's what gets him into trouble.

Did you even watch the game? Daniels played one of his best games this year. He didn't force shots and helped lead us back in the second half. This was one of the few games in which Daniels played within himself.

What about Canisius? They beat Monmouth by double digits.

Monmouth is a good team, but at the end of the day, a B1G program should not lose to a MAAC school. I'm happy with the effort today. I hope it stays at that level for the rest of the year. However, it is a bad sign that Monmouth has more talent (better shooters) than RU.

I love when people like you ASSume everything and they lose all credibility, because you think you know a little about BB when you obviously don't with your supercilious statements.

Fools gold today...best FT shooting team goes 7-14, good 3 pt team shoots 4-18. Still beats us.

Impressed with comeback, but MU got the lead SOLELY by beating us down the court. Disgusting!

With 5 fouls with 13 secs left he subs in Batie. MU gets a layup with us having 1 to give. WTF?

We got Monmouths C game and lost.

Have no confidence in Daniels making the right play, and yes I watched the game. Seton Hall Daniels was horrible.

If you did, then how can you write that? I agree with you that Daniels is a car crash waiting to happen most of the time, but today he actually played within himself and was very effective. Now, that doesn't mean he will be next time but today he was good.

Greene, you do realize we have 8 players now? And Monmouth I believe has played every game on the road but one.

just curious.....how many fast break points did Monmouth have today that were not on long rebounds?
