Dear everyone. This is a game thread. Where fans react to negative things in a negative way and positive things in a positive way. Way it’s always been and always will be. Happens for every school and in every sport. Rutgers fans are the same as every other school in the country when watching a game….actually pretty tame compared to others I’ve seen.

We are only down by 1. They shot lights out in the 1st half. If they can continue the same in the 2nd half, more credit to them. We don't have any foul trouble. We do need to cut down the turnovers.
They’ll get gassed soon with only 7 players, especially the 7 footer

Because we played great defense all half and got lit up by a bunch of lucky shots. They got like two good looks all half. Some of you people would get mad at a coin if it came up tails too many times in a row.
We are playing like garbage ….and minnesota is playing out of their minds.

Loll so true. It's not bad defense if someone makes a shot and you're all up on them with a hand in their face. It's basketball. Sometimes lucky shots go in. Sometimes a player is hot.
Willis will need to play all 40 with that lineup. Have Caleb harass him every possession.
It wasn’t a good offensive half, but we are just not that good offensively so I’m not surprised by that. Our formula to win is great defense and just not completely kill ourselves on offense and that’s what I saw in the first half.
I’m really trying to figure out how anyone here thought that was a good half.

We settled a lot on offense, and we went under too many screens. Those are my biggest two gripes of the first half, I think.

We are trying way too many degree of difficulty passes and shots
If you take away lucky 7 footer 3s and a couple deep and contested 3s we would have held them to around 20 points. Defense was fine.
Offense could be better
in fairness we've killed ourselves on offense a few times. some really careless passes and missed open shots

I think some fans don’t know the game very well. Of course we disrupted them. They got nothing at the rim the entire half. No coach wants his team shooting 25 footers when the shot clock expires. And trust me Johnson isn’t counting on the 7 footer making 2 3sin the half.

Well yeah I hate losing so I’d probably end up cursing at the coin then end up accusing the flipper of the coin of cheating somehow lol
I’ll concede the point on the offensive side. I mean I don’t feel it was way below average for us but that says more about the average than about that half.

I just watched half of a team with no bench and less talent than us take the lead at the half.
