Purdue is going to keep running it down our throats until we stop it. We are lucky this game isn't 21-9 Purdue. We need a TD here bad.

There was a blatant hold on the touchdown run. But our D is definitely getting tired and we need to score the next possession

Horrible tackling effort on the Purdue td.

The guys in the booth working the game are really annoying. Never been a fan of Matt Millen.

Pretty sure that was a perfect read from Bryant. He threw into the spot vacated by the blitzer.

It was Bryant standing in and making a read on the same play that your boy Sullivan would’ve been scrambling because a blitzer was coming for his jock.

They blitzed the CB out there and left 31 to get all the way down to Johnson. Total scheme decision. Freebie first down at BEST and then a difficult angle for 31 against a WR with momentum and zero help behind.

After watching the play over, you are right. No blown assignment, just asked the safety to do too much on that one. He is a good player but that’s an impossible assignment.

Weren’t we in on #31 late in his recruitment, came down to us and Purdue? Or am I wrong about that.

I can’t think of an an NU quarterback who has thrown downfield better. In the rare occasion NU has hit a deep ball in my 25 years as a fan, it seems like it’s been a slot guy down the middle. Bryant can hit it down the sideline.
