That’s because he didn’t play at Penn State due to a minor injury that caused him to tap out during warmups. Back today.
Stone not sharp today. Purdue should have 3 interceptions.

A lot to like in that half, but Stone got away with some bad decisions. Also hate Lujan’s play calling late in the half. Purdue is still in the game despite being dominated so far.
Defense was terrific in the first half. Time of possession fantastic and both lines were flashing. Stone has underthrown at least three balls that could have been picks, need to get that cleaned up. But continue to wear them down in the second half and we're looking good.
Just the worst 4 play calls after getting that first down. 3 low percentage passes to take no time off the clock or make them burn timeouts, and a fake punt run when we needed 10 yards. I could see doing that if we were up 3 scores and getting the ball after half, but giving it to them at midfield with 1:40 and 3 timeouts? All it would take is one explosion play and it’s 13-7 and they get the ball after half with momentum.
Good on the defense for getting some pressure to force poor throws, and for Komolafe to get a first down to run out the half.

We are fortunate to be ahead as much as we are despite totally dominating the game due to some bad chances that should have been intercepted.
