Having trouble shooting? Have IU come to town. Great shooting 2nd half by the cats. 54 points in the second half for NU after the Illini torched IU in half 1 last week for 60!!

Mgbako gives up way more on D than he scores. He’s absolutely clueless on D.

Were there any “Fire Woodson” chants tonight? Pains me to say it as he was one of my all-time favorite players.

I can’t imagine Woodson and his perfectly-coiffed goatee survives unless he gets to the tourney and maybe not even then.

The NU students started a “Fire Woodson” chant with a couple minutes left. Shouldn’t that have been “Re-Sign Woodson”?

The five IU guys sitting behind me seemed pretty resigned by the last five minutes or so. They kept shouting things like "Oh sure, give them another open three! What could go wrong?"

Good times...

Saw that Kanaan Carlyle played limited bench minutes. Everyone was after him in the portal and doesn't appear it is working out for him

Injuries don't explain his lack of production. He has played in 17 of their 18 games and is averaging under 5 points a game. Had 0 points in 14 minutes last night. Wonder how much he is getting paid for that?

Another player in this category is Clark Slajchert, the grad student point guard from Penn.
He drew plenty of interest from Power 6 schools, including UCLA, Indiana ,Clemson, Penn State, Texas A&M, etc.
I was disappointed when he chose USC.
He's playing 5 minutes a game, doing nothing.
Too weak, too small, not athletic enough.

Surprised these power 6 schools were after him, he gets completely abused on the defensive end in the games I have watched.
