I'm with Sheffielder. Start Boe in the Detroit Bowl. Get him some full game reps and let's see what he can do. Oh, and anyone but Lujan can / should wear the OC hat.
What game are you watching? The first half interception was tipped by a linebacker right in the passing lane that Stone obviously did not see.The first half interception was the same and led to a touchdown, which is the difference in this game. Stone hasn't been good today but the game is totally different if the receivers come down with those catches.
We are 3/4 of the way to this! I’m a geniusGuys calm down this game has like four more possessions left at least
The pass hit the receiver in the hands. What game are you watching? The first half interception was tipped by a linebacker right in the passing lane that Stone obviously did not see.
A meaningless statement when you make sure to mention it hit his one hand like four feet from where he was set up to catch it after being tipped right in front of himThe pass hit the receiver in the hands.
Stone is night and day. Never in the middle. I would be thrilled if he proves me wrong in the next minute. The crapping on Stone after last week’s game blows my mind….
Last week good stone, tofay less good stoneThe crapping on Stone after last week’s game blows my mind….
This team doesn’t even go to a bowl game without Stone. He almost single-handedly won the game last week.Last week good stone, tofay less good stone
So we can go play LSU in the NashvilleI now think winning is the funniest outcome
I can’t believe this was actually true hahaWe are 3/4 of the way to this! I’m a genius
How sad is your life that you keep creating new accounts to come here and spew negativity each game?Merciful ending. That was a tough watch.
One fricking half of one fricking game. Great...This team doesn’t even go to a bowl game without Stone. He almost single-handedly won the game last week.
He's getting paid a lot of money to put up just over 2,000 yards of passing and a 14/12 TD/INT ratio over an entire season. I'd say the crap is justified. The crapping on Stone after last week’s game blows my mind….
You’re blind. Go back and watch the play. The pass hit the receiver in the hands.
We win 2 games without him. This team has lots of issues, including WRs that can’t catch. He's getting paid a lot of money to put up just over 2,000 yards of passing and a 14/12 TD/INT ratio over an entire season. I'd say the crap is justified.
I wanna thank you for getting me thinking about this and inspiring a nice mug of holiday buttered rum that helped make the end of that game more hilarious than enragingJust curious...anyone have a drink/shot of choice for TDs? Mine has been Bushmill's since the Motor City Bowl of 2003.
EDIT: All are welcome to join. Too few NU traditions...
How many have we lost because of his poor play? Tonight for sure. Even an average QB performance gets us a win tonight. This team doesn’t even go to a bowl game without Stone. He almost single-handedly won the game last week.
Mid QB is always a problem.Win or lose...gritty game here. Remove "Northwestern" from the equation - you're down to your 4th string tailback with a mid-QB in treacherous weather and you're within a score of your rival at their senior day...
