I did not expect to go on the road and win today, but I really didn't think an AAC team would dominate us the way they have. They just look better everywhere.

It's time to go get a new coach and let him recruit whoever the hell he wants.

Subpar talent and quite a bit subpar coaching. This will be a long season and then a fresh start in 2026.

Maybe the subpar talent could be ok with stellar coaching. But this is a JV crew. Not ready for the big-time.

Neither the O or D coordinator is looking good today. The play calling when we had fourth and goal was questionable. On fourth and eight we don’t pressure the QB.

Maybe this is just a wasted year until the new stadium is open for a new coaching staff.

I have to agree at this point. The talent isn't there it seems, and that means coaching as well as the players. They need to hire the hottest OC available after the season. A guy with a plan that will garner interest from 4-5 star qbs, wrs, etc. We are too slow to be competitive, as the talent gap is too wide it seems. The coaching needs to be more innovative to make up for this, and it is simply not there thus far. I hope they can make corrections somehow, and soon or this will be a lost season.

3 down linemen vs six blockers on the obvious third and long run play and one of the down linemen still makes the tackle. Good Big Ten RB and. Good Big Ten line doesn’t allow that

Stone looks like he's totally defeated. We need to try another quarterback how much worse could it get. But there's no way we're going to win this game anyway. They're just much faster than we are. This could be a winless big tenure for us.

I’ve watched a few BiG Ten football games this season and we do not look ready to compete in the conference.

You are not going to get a good QB via the portal. Our offensive system isn't dynamic enough. The same reason we will never sign a really good QB anymore without a new HC/OC that has a dynamic system to attract top players on offense. Do you think NU will ever build a program off of other program's scraps? It only worked one time since 2018.

For reasons I will not detail, I had to drive to the hardware store yesterday to purchase a toilet auger. I fear Mark Jackson will have a similar task w/r/t our football program this November. Lack of competitiveness the last 13 games is simply not acceptable.
