Another pick offf of a baserunner. I just don't see where we are a good base stealing team.

Ump seems to have a wide plate today.

Should help both pitchers.

Cards need to swing with purpose.

Ty Young got caught watching the third strike.

Jeff Gardner single down the right field line. Ball kicked back in play towards the right fielder or else that would have been a double.

Gardner stranded at second on a pop-fly by Wasserman.

Cardinals have had base runners in each of the first two innings.

Through two innings, Cards and Beavers are tied at 0-0. Thompson has only allowed one hit so far.

3-0.....Young has disappeared in the post season. Hitting around .100. Two K's today.

Looking like this team was just happy to make it to CWS. Not playing like winners.

Can't win if you don't score. Sad that hitting - and fielding and baserunning to some extent - is letting some good pitching go to waste.

Apparently, the BE sucks in BB.

These guys are looking like they've never played the game.

They're better than this.

Doesn't explain the Supers vs. Vandy.

Bad at bats and stupid baserunning snowballed from Game 1... ugh...

1st game was huge for momentum, etc. if they couldn't beat IU then they probably deserve an early exit

I just quit watching. I have no notion whatsoever of where this team could find 9 more runs.

Peace

All 7 runs in the 4th were scored after the missed third out at first, right?

Not saying, just saying.

Cards look pitiful after that, but none of that would have happened if not for the safe call.
