Northwestern (4-4, 2-3 Big Ten) hosts Iowa (6-2, 3-2 Big Ten) today at Wrigley Field. The game will air on Peacock, kick will be at 2:36 based on the stadium clock.

At least 5:1 Hawkeyes fans on Clark and in the stadium so far.

That’s a slooooow release on Hill. A shame NU didn’t get the recovery. Looks like a hold, at long last, for the Cats D.

Dodged a bullet there on the first drive. Nice to overcome a couple of mistakes early.

I thought the first block was illegal. Looks like they flagged on the NU side of the field.

NU stands to lose about 10 yards net per punt…

We were moving a bit too. Just the kind of crap that good teams don't do.

Is there any team more prone to shooting themselves in the foot then our Cats?

NU wanted to take a shot on first down. Lang motioned like a lead blocker, play action to Porter. Sullivan looked downfield left checked back down to Lang.

I like the idea of a downfield pass on first down. I wish we got a look at the coverage.

It’s kind of how a ‘streaky’ shooter is just an ‘inconsistent’ or perhaps ‘bad’ shooter.

A ‘shooty-self’ offense is just a bad offense.

BUT BAD OFFENSE COULD BE ENOUGH TODAY!

How are we giving up passing yards to this crummy team??
