Let’s be real here, it’s not like we played a good overall game at UT. We simply owned the boards, hit free throws, made some open threes in clutch times, played solid D (lots of missed UT layups), and matched up well. This team is just a very poorly constructed roster, and our shooters can’t shoot with any consistency. It’s just depressing considering how hype myself and many were after the Bahamas

We have to take more mid range jumpers than any team in the country. Most of them coming from our big men. It’s not a good shot.

56% to 33%. This is a statement on our lack of defense. Shot chart would be interesting. They are getting all the way into the paint for nearly uncontested shots.

You just saw the problem summed in 10 seconds of that half time “interview”

Cal never thinks we need to do anything different, just start guarding (like they are t already trying to) and making shots (like they aren’t already trying to).

Follow up question…”but coach what if they still can’t do that?”

Cal…”don’t know what to tell you, try harder”.

Once again, the Cats are out-quicked all over the floor. Has nothing to do with sideways stance.

Cal loves his athletic plodders.

Exactly, it’s always we need to make shots, well no **** Sherlock. How are they gonna get the good looks? Also ever heard of switching defenses? Nope, just guard harder.

Wish we could just cancel the Kansas game. And we want nothing to do with TN again. Will be just like last year I’m afraid.

Dykes I got news for you Cal will not play a zone so you might quit lobbying for one!
Can't look like he has screwed up by not running it more while he's been here. Would be a lot of questions about why he hasn't tried that much before. Only hope we have is Cal getting thrown out of the game and the assistants run the zone.

Winning against UT just gave Cal an undeserved opportunity to get up off the mat instead of remaining down for the count. Cal is who we thought he was which the caricature of a great basketball coach.

All this zone talk! Doesn't everyone realize we haven't had time to work on a zone yet! Be patient!!
