I remember some of our fans groaning when Pope prioritized Butler in recruiting him from the portal early. I am not casting shade at our fans, but this speaks volumes about Pope's talent scouting, and it makes me very optimistic about who is signing moving forward.
We can’t come out to start the second half and let big boy push us around underneath and get offensive rebounds. He was hooking our big guys getting position in the first half with his off hand. Hopefully Pope alerts the refs to that.
