It wasn't even that he was slow there from a footspeed perspective, he just let the TE run right by him without turning to keep pace. It's possible he thought he was supposed to have help over the top, but with the safety walked out into the slot with 3 WR to that side and both CBs staying under as one receiver took the safety out to the boundary... I doubt it.Wow, is he slow!
He looked like a lineman out there...Blake Gallagher cannot play. He just got torched by an FCS tight end. Can't cover, can't tackle.
But more importantly, score points.Best help for JON defense is TOP on offense. Possess the ball.
And they don't even have to threaten to run. We can't cover or tackle or get any pressure. Bad combo.SIU has discovered that we do not have a defense...looks like Swiss cheese...holes everywhere.
Just a schematic issue! Keep the ballWe do NOT have the athletes!!!
I agree that whoever scores the most points will win this game. This is going to be a shootout whoever scores the most will win
Or an easy dropped pass near end zoneWe need a turnover or a sac cuz we can't play defense
ND’s offense isn’t that good either. And some of you think they'd hang with ND!!!
JON is a dope. Is that what you mean? /sWe’re just playing rope a dope!
This SIU offense is gashing NU. ND's would carve NU's apart. Imagine Gallagher trying to cover Michael Mayer... it'd be a blood bathND’s offense isn’t that good either.
NopeLet's see if we have a defense on this drive after going three and out.
Because we don’t have any speedy receiversHow can we not get any WR open downfield?
