Yea, but it's more than that. Like how at end of games he doesn't want to call a timeout and trust the team. Do that with the freshmen. It feels to me like hes holding them back. If this team is going to beat good teams it is going to take them playing well along with the others. That has to come in more than just cupcake matchups. Live and die a little more with the freshmen is what I guess Im trying to say. I hope that makes sense. I kinda lost my train of thought for a moment lol
Don't buy into this game. Look good against terrible competition, will get beaten in disappointing fashion against a good team. Next:

Fun fact/observation...this game reminds of our opening round game vs Florida A&M in 2004. We won 96-76, but we could never push it past 20, and our defense was atrocious...which unfortunately was a harbinger of what was to come against UAB in next round.

I got ya but you have the wrong guy. Cal would be the one who plays them too much vs other coaches. Just not all at the same time. But he's always valued defense as well.
I mean who really knows what in the world is going on. Cal has had Lance, Collins, and wheeler in at the same time. Makes no sense.
