Funny, I worked with McDermott, Will & Emery last week. Interesting to see them involved here.

That article is from 2018. The FEC, whose job it is to investigate and charge for election/campaign crimes has known about this for years. They investigated it and decided no charge was warranted.
That "simple" smell is likely coming from the person you are closest to, lol. Just fyi.
Roll the Tacopina tape CUTip. For the record, I don't want him charged for this one because it will weaken the serious ones, but it's been hella fun watching the MAGettes work themselves into a frenzy over Trump's false predictions.

Spin, spin, spin. You don’t want him charged because you know it’s garbage and his lead will increase. Heck, he’s already at 58% or more.

The most investigated President in history and you’ve got nothing. Imagine if the current “president” and all before him were investigated as much as DJT. I understand how people dislike him and I didn’t either initially. However, he’s likely the most non corrupt president ever after all of these ridiculous investigations. His policies and love for our country is what we need IMO. Save your sarcastic responses about Trump being some type of savior comments. There is only One, Jesus Christ.

I would encourage people to remove the name of the person associated with this and just look at how this is being handled and how corrupt this process is. Leave out Trump and look at the fundamentals of this. No rational person would be comfortable with this process. This is entirely a case of show me the man and I'll find you the crime. Why give Trump this kind of oxygen? It's a dangerous path for our system of justice and it's completely irritating to keep providing publicity to someone who just need to GO AWAY!!!!

Won't happen but Bragg should be fired.

We are about three months into the republican controlled congress, very little legislation but all kinds of investigations into the Bidens. That should rile you up also, no?

I have never thought this thing in NY had much behind it b/c it is only a misdemeanor. But the call that trump made to the GA SOS is a big deal. He should get in trouble for that.

You won't like this too much but my hope for Congress is almost always to do nothing and accomplish nothing. Especially in this case because the Senate isn't going to work with them on imperatives that folks like me believe we need to function better as a nation. They have done some things with Democrats though and some important things have been accomplished. One bill that just passed in Congress was just vetoed by the President.

As for what you said about investigations, some I am in favor of and others I think are just ridiculous. I'm 100% behind anything that gets to the bottom of Covid. I believe the weaponization of our justice apparatus should be investigated for the benefit of all. As you saw by Trump's video, he just wants to get in there and turn the tables using the same means. It is wrong now and it would be wrong if he did it.

I am not in favor of investigations into the Biden family and as you know, I think they are liars and cheats. I just don't see the value in all the investigations at this point. Gotcha politics suck. It doesn't serve the people in any way shape or form.

Also, I agree with you about Georgia. I don't know that Trump meant it the way it sounded but the way things were phrased on that call is highly problematic. There is an actual case there which should be investigated and considered. And regardless of what he said, that's a call he never should have made. That's over the line.

Could you for once focus on the President of the United States of America?
Try to keep Trump, the ex-president and civilian out of your head for 10 seconds.

Focus on Crime Central inside the White House. lol

People thinking this will somehow increase trump's support with moderates and people who weren't already going to vote for him baffle me.
THIS... First and foremost, there are very very few people that haven't already made their minds up on Trump... one way or the other. Basically, nothing is going to change that. Hell, he could be a child molester at this point and wouldn't lose a single vote. The folks that support him would just shrug and say that those ******* kids had it coming.

The other side is just as true. People that don't like Trump aren't going to vote for him no matter what. Personally, I think that this whole NY Prosecution for paying off a porn star is a bunch of crap. But I assure you that I'll NEVER vote for Trump.

Don't talk about the future GOP presidential nominee in a thread about the future GOP presidential nominee.

Man, you ain't smart enough to pour piss out of a boot.
What I am saying here, you simpleton, is that in every topic, you sheep add in trump, then out of the other side of your pie holes you scream whataboutism.
You can't have it both ways, you little immature brats.

AMIRITE

btw: If you think I am such a DA, I'd suggest when you come back into SC you stay away from any of the new bridges in the I-20/I-26 area. Just sayin'

The only accurate statement you made is that you will never vote for him. I do agree with your opinion on the NY prosecution.

What part of my statement don't you think is true? Public opinion of Trump is set in stone, there's very very few people that don't have a very strong opinion of him. Hell, when he was President, Turmp himself said he could go out into the street and shoot someone down and wouldn't lose a single vote. And he was right.

I could easily see a lot of buyers remorse for some middle of the road voters on Biden. The economy is tanking and people are being affected financially. These same people will recall how good the economy was under Trump and I could see that flipping some votes.

Even taking cheating out of the equation China Joe just won by a few thousand votes across all the swing states.

agree with @TigerGrowls. Also, he wouldn't get my vote if he was child molester.

We this was not true. He lost the last election and got fewer votes than did the first time. Don't let the fact get in the way, though.

You are 100% wrong. He would unquestionably get fewer votes in a general election this time than he did in 2020. Anyone who does not believe that is just blind to their ideology or stupid.

That depends on your definition of a few thousand votes. Even if he won all the sates he lost by 1% or less(WI,AZ,GA) he would still not win.
