Game Needed for 2023 - 2024 cycle

[Cat45]

Dinwiddie HS is looking for a game on either 9/8/23 or 9/15/23 next year, preferably home in 23 and we will come to you in 24. Contact AD Jennifer Wegman at [email protected] if interested.

Please spread the word, we are still in need of a game for the next cycle.
We have a deal with GW and North Stafford, but need that third game.

Me personally, I wish Louisa had not been booked. I would love to play them and play at the Jungle. I stopped by the stadium one day just to say that I’ve seen it, but I’ve never attended a game there. With the Lions moving up to Class 5, that would have made it better for both teams. I think most coaches would prefer to not have OOD games with teams that they could potentially meet should both make the playoffs.

Why doesn't the VHSL bring all the Head Coaches and ADs into one location every two years for a couple of days for a seminar like Texas does and have breakout rooms done by Class along with boards that list which schools need games? And then Coaches and ADs can work on the district schedules and then meet with other schools to finalize non-district schedules? That would be so simple.
