Win or lose, high school coaches would lose jobs with how this game was managed, from timeouts to scheme. It was truly something to see at Kinnick today!
Not arguing with you as I have seen many examples from KF but which examples do you have in this gameThe seemingly flippant attitude towards clock management troubles me the most.
Not calling timeout on 3rd and 8 on the first drive of the game and getting a delay of game penalty. There has to be someone looking at the play clock on the coaching staff (and qb too). It’s the first half of the game. Hell Kirk used his first timeout of the first half so he could chew out the refs after a missed false start call and a long pass. Not arguing with you as I have seen many examples from KF but which examples do you have in this game
Like I keep saying: Iowa has receivers. They just have to get them the ball. And yes, that was a spectacular catch, especially given the situation. Man, I'd love to see Vander Zee--and Howard--targeted at least 10 times a game.I like the way they managed to score points down the stretch in crunch time. Nice catch VanderZee!
If they were we would be unbeaten. We turtle the whole game until we have to pass, then you see what Lester , Gronk, and the O are really capable of. Horrible game plan.Like I keep saying: Iowa has receivers. They just have to get them the ball. And yes, that was a spectacular catch, especially given the situation.
