Not arguing with you as I have seen many examples from KF but which examples do you have in this game
Not calling timeout on 3rd and 8 on the first drive of the game and getting a delay of game penalty. There has to be someone looking at the play clock on the coaching staff (and qb too). It’s the first half of the game. Hell Kirk used his first timeout of the first half so he could chew out the refs after a missed false start call and a long pass.

I like the way they managed to score points down the stretch in crunch time. Nice catch VanderZee!
Like I keep saying: Iowa has receivers. They just have to get them the ball. And yes, that was a spectacular catch, especially given the situation. Man, I'd love to see Vander Zee--and Howard--targeted at least 10 times a game.

If they were we would be unbeaten. We turtle the whole game until we have to pass, then you see what Lester , Gronk, and the O are really capable of. Horrible game plan.

Re-watched the pass to VZ and it was perfect and was reminiscent of the Oregon receiver a few weeks ago to setup their field goal.

Then re-watched the TD pass in slow-mo and didn’t realize at the the time it was from the opposite hash. That was a big time, NFL quality throw. Frustrating knowing MG has that talent but not necessarily the consistent strength and play-calling to do that every game.
