Haikus are fake poetry:

“In Evanston, where the lake winds blow,
We don our purple, hearts all aglow.
Wildcats we cheer, through rain or sun,
Northwestern’s pride, second to none.

Beneath the arch, the tailgates hum,
The drumline’s beat, our anthem’s drum.
On Ryan Field, where dreams take flight,
We roar as one on game-day night.

From Willie’s grit to the team’s fierce play,
We stand united, come what may.
The underdog spirit, bold and true,
In purple and white, we see it through.

Though seasons shift, and scores may sting,
Our loyalty’s a sacred thing.
For Northwestern’s call, we’ll always rise,
Wildcat forever, under Illinois skies.”
