He did manage to beat an undefeated Michigan State team though. Something tells me that his coaching played a pretty small role in that win.

Four years ago was the most recent Husker win of significance. I’d say we’re ready to play a top 5 team for the world to see Winking.

So tough guy, if we are wimps, give us the most recent team of significance that the Huskers have beaten. Please include the year this occurred and the final season record of the outstanding team that the Huskers beat. Feel free to include multiple teams if you can find them.

Where did I say anything about whatever you're mumbling about? The point remains, apparently you don't want gameday because you're afraid we'll lose. Who cares? The exposure and recruiting will be worth it. I did consider using another word besides wimps, but you really wouldn't have liked that word.

I don't think gameday has any affect on how many people watch the game. It's not like people are "gameday is in Lincoln, I was planning on doing something else but now I'm going to watch the Huskers tonight".

This debate it pointless. If its offered by ESPN we'll host. No one is going to turn it down based on concerns over losing.

Had NU defeated Colorado, there would be a possibility, but that is gone.

If NU wins out, and Wisconsin is highly ranked at the time, maybe Game Day will be in Lincoln for that game. So don’t count on it this year. That ship sailed from Boulder.

The radio heads keep talking about “if we win this week, Will game day come here for the Ohio State game?” Having that kind of exposure is usually a really good thing, especially with it being a big recruiting weekend, but I don’t think our O is anywhere near where it needs to be to make a game of it. I don’t what Game Day here only to go out and get our doors blown off.
