Game 2 vs Tulane

[DAWG61]

Cerantola 29 pitches after 1. 1-0 Tulane

[WutheringDawg]

Allen’s shorts were good enough to hit that one 351. 2-1 dawgs.

[DAWG61]

Tanner Shorts 2 run HR. 2-1 MSU. Skips over celebrating with team to celebrate with Rowdey Shorts instead.

[Seinfeld]

Too early to say same ol’ Cerantola

[Hump4Hoops]

Tulane baseball feels like Tulsa football.

They refuse to shut the 17 up.

Also, we continue our trend of giving out free bases like Halloween candy.

[57stratdawg]

Ceratola isn’t even close right now. T2 starts with back to back HBP.

[Mobile Bay]

Can we leave Cerentola at home more often?

[DAWG61]

No it isn't. He's got zero control. Yank him.

[NWADog]

It’s a shame to have that much talent and not be able to locate a pitch consistently

[1msucub]

They refuse to shut the 17 up.

Also, we continue our trend of giving out free bases like Halloween candy.

All we have to do is shut them up. Back to back HBP’s does not accomplish that.

[11thEagleFan]

Tulane baseball has always been some chirpy mother17ers. I hope y’all beat them by 20.

[bulldognation]

2nd inning and Ceratola just gave TU the lead again and is over 50 in the pitch count. Ugh.

[DAWG61]

Cerantola trying to sneak last week's pitch count into this one. 53 pitches thru 2. 3-2 Loud Mouths.

[57stratdawg]

He found his release after the last walk. There were some really nasty pitches the last couple batters. That 2 RBI single was just a rolled over grounder, but it had eyes.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

Foxhalls pitchers seem to win always have trouble in early innings...

[DAWG61]

Sims is hot as the sun. 14 k's thru 16 batters faced this season. He's got to be made a starter starting next week right? He's the best pitcher in the country right now.

[Hump4Hoops]

Is Sims the best pitcher on our roster?

Again he comes up and hangs K after K. And we just tried for a 4th out in an inning for the second time this game.

[wsjmsu75]

Right now, yes.

[Hump4Hoops]

Looks like seats behind the plate have become the TikTok section today.

[DAWG61]

Yup hella annoying but it also appears to be distracting the Loud Mouths pitcher so keep it up Tik Tokers

[Len2003]

I feel like I was sold a bill of goods before this season.

[Hump4Hoops]

Loaded bases with 1 out and got nothing.

Not feeling great.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

Lemonis needs to throwing some bats around in the dugout and cussing some players out...

[anon1787432961]

Hey news update. Tulane is better than we are this weekend.

[MSUDawg25]

Jfc, can we please just be good at something this year? Every MSU sport has been frustrating as hell to watch these last 12 months.

[Seinfeld]

Pretty pathetic look for Hatcher there

[DAWG61]

NMP clearly met the team after they got back from Dallas

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Really weak swings against the lefty. Maybe we should have pinch hit there.

Is their dugout making all the noise?

[Hump4Hoops]

They might have the loudest dugout I've ever heard in a men's game.

[Dawgg]

When do we start questioning if this team is as good as we thought?

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

That plate sure got tight for our guy all of the sudden.

We need to make them STFU!

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Then end of March.

[bruiser.sixpack]

The way our Punch and Judy batters hit, we just as well put our Softball team out there and let them compete with Tulame dugout for who can make the most noise. The reason they are crowing is because this group of State players were woefully overrated.

[tatedog]

Hey news update. Tulane is better than we are this weekend.

"Thanks for the check!"

[Seinfeld]

Our problems at the plate are obviously not a huge surprise, but if Macleod and Cerantola continue to be as bad as they were this weekend, we’ve got problems. We need Macleod to be elite and Cerantola to be a good 3rd starter to get to where we want to be

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Nice job of killing the confidence of our best pitcher this early season.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Boy I missed that one. Coach told him to quit pissing around and throw his fast ball and two strikeouts.

I'll admit I am a Lazy Boy recliner coach.

James said hold my beer. You're as good a recliner coach as I am.

[57stratdawg]

What a play by Tulane SS. These guys are really playing well..

[bruiser.sixpack]

James said hold my beer. You're as good a recliner coach as I am.

Yep. James hit a solo homer and the next 3 guys couldn’t get it out of the infield.
