How did Crews get on 2B in the first? I was a little late tuning in.

Getting out of the first without giving up a run was HUGE.

I like our approach at the plate, at least. We’re being patient so far. We need to get into their bullpen. 46 pitches through 3.

These announcers. Really trying hard to sell LSU pitching. We've put the bat on almost every plate appearance... But the LSU pitcher is "dialed in". Meanwhile LSU can't touch us and they are silent.

Bednar should be a first round pick this year which explains why Lemonis was so careful with him earlier this season

I hate to pile on James, and he has no idea that throw down was going to wide on the 1st base side, but if he dives more inside the bag, the SS can’t get that tag.

Bednar’s stuff is nasty. Tigahs have had several awkward swings on pitches that eat em up inside

The shift has saved us more runs than it cost us. We have people complaining while facts make them look dumb. By the way eventually you will remind me of this text while forgetting the facts

An incredible job by our pitching staff in these first two games. So impressive. I don’t remember seeing such a deep and elite group of pitchers like we have. Hope it continues tomorrow with Cerantola gaining confidence after last weekend. If not then I’ll be happy with Fristoe Sunday’s

Also in the past I feel like we’ve had great teams (obviously) but a lot of times it seemed like we couldn’t take advantage of lead off walks and move them over or make the plays to get the runs in when our bats struggled but tonight was flawless baseball in a very well pitched tight game.
