Game 2 Thread - MSU vs TCU

[57stratdawg]

K ends the inning.

1-0 TCU after 5 complete.

[57stratdawg]

6th Inning - some trouble. Bases loaded. No outs.

[57stratdawg]

RBI FC. 2-0 TCU. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Double play! Big to get out of the inning. Nice work from our middle IF.

[57stratdawg]

Uh oh. Might get a review and overturn here.

[57stratdawg]

Play stands. Close, but not sure you had 100% video evidence he beat it out. He probably did, but we get a break.

[Barkman Turner Overdrive]

Uh oh. Might get a review and overturn here.

This broadcast team is awful.

[Hump4Hoops]

They need a high speed camera.

Everything was a complete blur in replay.

[Hump4Hoops]

Rowdey Jordan with another long bomb to center field.

I don't understand - he's under 6 feet tall! Someone please call Yancy.

[57stratdawg]

Rowdy with a solo shot! 2-1 TCU.

[57stratdawg]

Tanner Allen works a walk. 1 on, 1 out.

[57stratdawg]

TCU making a move. Good outing for that kid. He controlled the ball well today. Kept us off balance.

[57stratdawg]

6-4-3 ends it. 2-1 TCU

[57stratdawg]

7th Inning - new pitcher in for MSU. Jaxen Forrester.

Good day from B. Smith.

[ZombieKissinger]

One of the guys yesterday was wrong about the names of 2-3 patients per inning. It was like Jack at the very end, but I feel like it's this guy at his peak, and he's just awful. He also says a bunch of dumb **** that his partner has to politely correct then he comes back and says, "No, I know that, but..." then spends 30 seconds justifying his dumb ****.

[57stratdawg]

2nd and 3rd. 1 out for TCU.

Im surprised that TCU runner got to 2nd there. Allen got it back in in a hurry.

[57stratdawg]

Sac flY. 3-1 TCU.

[Hump4Hoops]

Not sure if Forrester is the answer.

Pretty wild out there.

Edit: and just like that a pretty slick, controlled strikeout.

[57stratdawg]

K ends it. But, TCU gets that run back.

3-1. Mid 7.

[57stratdawg]

Hatcher with a deep fly out to CF. 1 down.

[57stratdawg]

Hancock K’s, but some of those pitches were low. If you’re hitting the glove though, you might get that call.

2 outs.

[57stratdawg]

Debrule K’s.

3-1 TCU after 7.

[57stratdawg]

8th Inning - Kole Alford in for MSU. LHP from McComb.

[57stratdawg]

TCU with a smash single off Hatcher at 1B. 1 on, 0 outs.

[mdm3045]

1B for TCU Gene Wood was high school teammate of Jake Mangum at Prep. He played at Bama prior to transferring to TCU 2 years ago. Pulling for him (just not in this game).

[57stratdawg]

Walk. 2 on, 0 outs.

[57stratdawg]

Bottom 9th - MSU making some noise.

[57stratdawg]

Tanner Allen K’s. Then we get a double off the wall. Followed by a single.

3-2 TCU. 1 down.

[Hump4Hoops]

I was just about to turn it off after the Allen K.

Quite a quick turnaround. Game could end with either outcome on any pitch now.

[57stratdawg]

Another hit!

[mdm3045]

Nice base running by Hatcher right there!

[tbaydog]

Thanks for the updates, 57stratdawg

[57stratdawg]

Debrule walks. Bases loaded. Down 1. McGowen up trying to be a hero.

[57stratdawg]

4-6-3 double play. Ball game.

[Leeshouldveflanked]

Should have bunted .... game would have been tied

[bruiser.sixpack]

Nah. He hit it too hard. A slow roller scores the run.**** That’s Baseball!

[Mobile Bay]

4-6-3 double play. Ball game.

Ron Polk should have kept his trap shut. Cursed us.
