has Nebraska players/coaches been throwing games?
one olinemen allowing 4 sacks
one olinemen diving outta games early
qb who refuses to run, pass quick or throw it away
defensive players who refuse to hit the ground tackleing
coaches putting only 3 dlinemen up front
coaches refusing to establish a ground game
coaches talking bout other jobs
etc...
are we supposed to believe this is just multiple random failings?
or is something more sinister going on?

You can't possibly be serious?
Well we did sign a player to our basketball squad who had some issues…. With all the casinos in CB it’s not too far fetched that a player could get on the wrong side of the ledger somewhere. More likely probably with the online bookies but….

Less likely to happen these days now that players are getting paid. I think it's more likely to happen on one of those Sun Belt Tuesday night games or whatever.

Whether he's serious or not, this whole thread is pure gold.
Okay, I'll play along.
This is a team that's likely developing poor chemistry. If you just look at the "ball handlers" chart including the MICH, MSU, MARY and MINN game it almost paints a picture of discontent among the receiving corp.

I don't have much luck getting short charts lined up correctly, but I'll give it a go and see what it looks like. (PASSES RECEIVED)

PLAYER (SEASON TOTAL) MICH MSU MARY MINN 4 game total
EJ 29- 5- 6-- 2- 5- (18)
LUKE 23- 7- 1- 2- 4- (14)
JACORI 27- 6- 2- 3- 1- (12)
HUNTER 27- 2- 4- 5- 5- (16)
KEY 20- 3- 0- 4- 0- ( 7)
Since the MICH game, both Jacori and Key have become less factors. Jacori's was DR's,, Dana's and the fan's golden boy, this year that has switched to Hunter, based on actual on-field production.

Dane Key? We all know he came up here for the brotherhood, the facilities , etc, etc. BUL*S*IT, he came up here to get targeted and catch passes in hopes of elevating his potential draft status. Being shut out 2 of the last 3 games may explain why his route efforts are less than expected.

If you're the playcaller and you want that ball in Jacori's hands, there's nothing the defense can do to stop you. Granted, the producation may not be there but using jet sweeps, reverses, quick passes, etc, you cannot keep a dedicated playcaller from getting the ball to guy, if that's what he wants to do.

Once BIG teams begin to slow down or stop Hunter, that production is gonna have to come from someone else. One game it looks like EJ and LUKE heavy and the WR's not so much, the next game its EJ and LUKE less prominent and the WR's more heavy emphasis. This offense is suspect at best.

While I totally agree on the pure gold thread, our o-line isn’t smart enough to even know their blocking assignments. To think they are smart enough or witty enough to be part of a successful ‘throwing games’ type of scandal and keep it going is actually pure fantasy! 😂 😂

You might be on to something. We also kicked the ball backwards one time

Anyone that pays attention to sports could have seen this coming, when sports gambling was made legal they just created a big problem, it’s going to ruin the game. You had the 1919 blacksox scandal, boxing and horse racing. Alex Karris Paul horning and other in football, LSU basketball in the 80’s with point shaving. This all happened when the only place you could bet was Vegas. Now every state it’s legal and the NCAA said it’s ok for players and coaches to bet on the pros, that’s going to work out well 🙄🤢

So you are telling me a sport driven by greed is going to be ruined by greed?

Go watch Wilcher a few seasons ago for Nebraska basketball. Swear that guy was as big a suspect as you will see outside of Adrian with football.

Why do we run routes on 3rd down that are consistently one yard in front of the to make marker?
