He is struggling right now, I hope he comes out of it because we need him now more than ever. If he could just give us 8 points a game and 6 rebounds I would gladly take it. He is to good an athlete to stay in this funk, anytime you hustle good things happen and he does hustle when he's in the game

He's awful; can't shoot, can't rebound and is a turnover machine, which are characteristics of a typical freshman. However, if he stays he'll be a decent player in a couple of years.
He's having a rough stretch right now, but he can't let it get in his head. Just keep chopping and eventually that tree will fall.
Not all 5-stars are created equal. It's something all of us - myself included - would do well to remember.
At this point, I think the best we can hope for is to give us some minutes without hurting us when he's in. If he's patient and commits to getting better in the offseason, he'll be a big help next year.

All of the freshman have had a stretch like this. Just so happens his a little later. Hopefully he breaks out of it in the SECT.

I agree with this. Sometimes these guys put too much pressure on themselves to prove that they should be 1st round picks. May be what's happening to Gabriel but he's no where near a draft pick this season.
He is in a slump offensively. Never was real strong but struggling as of now. All in all solid numbers. If him and Willis both contribute like they did today I'll take it.
As someone also said all 5* are not created equal. Some forget that their ranking is based upon their high school career and not how they will play as freshman in college. Gabriel hasn't caught up with the speed and size of the college game yet

I agree WG is struggling but....
Mulder? I mean, we are still doing this? He played 10 minutes, 1/5 from three and 1 assist and 2 PF. He got multiple rebounds stolen from him today.
Why should Willis share minutes with Mulder?
Splitting minutes between Willis is WG is fine.
WG needs to improve on several things in the off season:
-his strength
-his footwork and defensive positioning
-post moves
-attention to detail and intensity
Another year here and hopefully by next season he'll be a much better player.

This! People have looked at that spot as by comitte all year suddenly Willis plays well and they forget that. Gabe works hard enough to play some minutes, to say Gabe deserves SKJ treatmeny is retarded!
Weynen is trying to find himself on this team which is good because he will be back next yr and it will be nice to have a veteran for next yrs team. He hustles and brings a lot of intensity to the game. This time next yr he will be completely different. In cal I trust
Willis has separated himself from WG at this point. Should get 80 percent of those minutes right now.
It's too late for Mulder to be anything other than what he is now...Spell guys and be a situational zone buster at best if he's hitting.
