The RAC certainly needed it last night. It was like a sauna in there.
the announcers mentioned it a few times.

yeah, nothing like putting it to our short home team bench. Laurent was cramping. Thanks so much facilities! Only at Ru would playing at home be a game day disadvantage!

so whoever was in charge of facilities goofed big time because they left the heat on longer than they should have..they know the deal that when it gets warm outside like it did yesterday into the 50s you cant crank that thing on

Doug Kokoskie:

"We are currently going thru a HVAC project at the RAC which will upgrade our heating system with better controls and to include cooling. A number of the heating units at the RAC were actually removed. Temp heating units that we have in place were shut off all day. The building was on full vent for the game however the outside temps were above normal. New system is to be complete May 1."

True. Now they need to fix the ventilation in the concession stands on the RU bench side of the RAC. More often than not their is the stench of a grease fire that filters all the way down to Section 114 and the hallway behind the stands. Not as bad Wed. night, but a couple of games ago it was unbearable.

Was at the RAC last night for wrestling. Although the video-speaker system is great now, the building needs help, big time. Seats, ceiling, corridors....all need a renovation. Yikes.
