SIAP, but Footballscoop reports on recruiting expenses across the country summarizing a report by USA Today. Nebraska does NOT rank in the Top 10 or even as number 1 in the B1G itself (Michigan and Penn State are ahead of Nebraska). Kind of surprising to me, given the geographic need for Nebraska to recruit nationally vs. all those other schools with so much talent in their backyards. So who spends the most on recruiting? Not a shock there, it's the SEC schools. And very unsurprising, Alabama and Clemson are near the top in spending on recruiting. Read the reports at the links.

So, Nebraska now has low-ranking football facilities and being out spent by other schools in recruiting. And yet we have all that B1G money. Seems like Frost and Moos might have some work to do.

For the types of recruits we're targeting we're spending the appropriate amount. Just throwing a bunch of money at a problem isn't going to fix it.

It is when you consider that Nebraska by virtue of its poor geographic location to the national talent needs to spend much more than most of the other schools just to be on an even keel.
But we are centrally located!!
