41-21 Final.

If injuries weren’t bad enough already SP lost starting Safety Gange to a broken clavicle tonight.

41 - 21 Forestview all the way. Total domination on offense and defense. SP looked like they were not even prepared to play football tonight and that is on the coaches. There is no on field coaching and motivation now on the SP sidelines. After every series, the offense or defense comes off the field and immediately sits down in a makeshift "Sunday school class" and watches video clips on IPADS. There is no coaching or motivation coming from the "coaches" at all. You feel sorry for the kids, they are just out there floundering on their own with nothing being done about it. If John Devine or Mickey Lineberger saw this unmotivated style of play on the field, they would be sticking a shoe up somebody's butt and you would be able to hear them across the field. Now, it's just like being in a library in that "sideline classroom". Sad to see the rapid decline of football there.

That’s just plan sad. Do y’all think they are just at a loss for words with all the injuries or what ? Or has the kids just kinda fell off ? Wander what’s up

SP is down. It happens.... Injuries are hard to overcome. Throw in being a young team (12 seniors) the odds are stacked against them.

Honestly I thought that conference would be a 2 team race between Shelby & South Point... But maybe not... Could South Point lose 2 or 3 in conference?

Also just curious, you guys think Cramer has started having an effect on SP? Taking some if their players?

Unless something drastically changes Burns and Shelby are just games you hope to keep close. EG and SP should be a decent game.

SC is still mediocre. The meat of SP Is still coming from Belmont. SC has a larger effect on EG than SP. SP numbers will continue to rise over the next 5-6 years. Houses are going up like crazy.

If they don't greatly improve, I don't see but one or two more wins all year. Maybe East Gaston and Chase, but who else? Stuart Cramer will man handle SP next week unless some big changes are made between now and then.

Has Cramer had that much of an effect on SP and all their talent?

I was in total shock most the night. South Point has some bright spots but that was not the South Point we (at Forestview) are used to seeing. Zero punts from Forestview all night. Hope the kid heals up good that's a nasty bone to break.

Both was at the game, they left with about 5 minutes to go.

SP is now playing like they played in 1980s. Yes our talent is down and yes we have have injuries but it goes much further than that. Just go to a game and watch the "coaching" on the sidelines. Shocking to see what is going on. Lackluster play on the field and then just sit around and watch videos while the other team is on the field. No motivation what so ever.

Absolutely not. Granted as a Forestview alum the only team I dont like more then SP is Ashbrook, but there is a respect for the program and what they have accomplished. I hope whatever is going on can be fixed and the ship corrected before it's too late.

The offense is simply rebuilding. There are 2 sophomores and a freshman starting on the line. Doesn’t take a genius to realize that’s a weakness on a team with SP’s schemes. They are down to the 3rd string QB who is 140 soaking wet. The D has been steady until tonight. I don’t even worry about last week. Clover is a different animal this year. Are there some questionable calls being made? The use or non-use of Grier; sure. I would put Grier in the wildcat and become Crest with Tre Harbison.

Give credit to Forestview too. They looked like they were ready to play and never took their foot off the gas all night. The SP defense had been our best team this year but they never came close to stopping Forestview one singe time. I laughed when I saw SP was a 10 point favorite coming in because I wasn't sure our offense could even score 10 points. But I never dreamed our defense would give up 41. Looks like the SP defense is now playing on the SP offense level. Congrats to Forestview and best of luck the rest of the way. For sure there will not be any SP playoff retribution this year, ha ha.

You can say what you want, but SP is beginning to see the impact of all those veteran coaches retiring.

I’d argue against that right now. Tate and Shepard are still on the sidelines. Veteran coaches don’t prevent broken bones and felonies either. SP IS YOUNG. In (2) years they won’t be. 13 seniors with only really (3) on the offensive side of the ball contributing.

Not wanting to say it but that’s exactly what I was thinking. Idk but when a school looses coaches that were the level as the ones they lost that’s a huge loss that I wandered how it would work out

You are absolutely correct about that. Our coaching staff has always been magical, being able to get better results out of the players than most people would expect. This will not happen with the way these current coaches are handling things. Again, absolutely no motivation. And tonight I saw players starting to give up and not putting in full effort. Not all the players of course, but a lot of them. And I saw no reaction from the coaches on this at all.

You know over the last 6 years or so I would travel and watch south Point many time a year sometimes 5-6 games a year because I loved the football that was played and what the coaches were doing with them kids. You could just tell they were coaches different.. a true machine. I sure do hope for the best tho

A combination of injuries, young team and lack of fire right now. They are young. It is what it is!

Really? What's south points record this year? You need to go dig out some old vhs tapes and talk about the past (unless it's the whipping y'all took the last time y'all played huss)

You know the difference between a Hunter Huss 1-3 record and a SP 1-3 record..... no one in the state is shocked by a 1-3 Hunter Huss and in disbelief by a 1-3 SP.

Hey Whamo, think 5-20-1. Since you are so brilliant, you should be able to figure it out. That's 5 out of 26 or 19%. Stick that in your noggin if there is any room left in your massive brain.
