“What’s happening in Fulton County, Georgia right now is nuts. So on the election board in Fulton County, Georgia, you’re required to have 2 Republicans, 2 Democrats and 1 independent, so that when they make decisions about how they’re going to do elections, you have an equal say.
— The board of commissioners, which is above the board of elections, is refusing to seat the 2 Republicans.
Now, not only are they required to seat them by law, but also there are now 3 court orders, where judges have ordered that they seat them. And they just said, no.
— So basically right now, all the election decisions are two Democrats overruling one independent, just making up any rules they want, and there’s nobody to challenge them.
And like I said, not only are these two Republicans required to be sat by law, but the Republican Party has actually gone to the court multiple times and now has 3 standing orders from judges saying they need to be seated. And the Board of Commissioners is just like, ain’t doing it, f*ck you.
And right now, the election rules in Georgia are being completely redefined by 2 Democrats.
And what’s gonna happen is by the time they actually seat these two Republicans, now the Republicans are gonna have to try to out-vote the Democrats and try to convince the independent to go along with them on everything they need to turn back, which isn’t gonna happen.
