Wife's got the E350 Cab and I drive the Mazda CX5. It may be the best mid-size SUV I've ever had, just does everything right.

Always been a GM guy, but the last.one I owned was a 2001 Buick Rendezvous AWD. That thing rode great, handled great and the auto awd worked flawlessly. Was still going strong at 170k when some lady tboned me and totalled it. Nissan Murano replacement was POS.
2001 Buick Rendezvous . . . So, my wife's grandmother passed away in 2016. She had one of these vehicles that sat in the garage most of the time. My mother-in-law inherited it, and at that time, with the vehicle being 15 years old, it still only had about 60,000 miles on it — zero rust (garage kept, and barely ever driven).

Present day, I think it might have finally cracked 100,000 miles. My mother-in-law uses it as her daily driver because she loves it so much.

I refuse to shop with my wife. Long story short: it's a time consuming process that requires patience I don't have. About once a month, my wife and my mother-in-law will go on mega shopping trips to Pittsburgh that last 12-14 hours on my wife's days off. They somehow can stuff that day's purchased goods for two homes into the Rendezvous and drive it home in pouring snow.

My wife loves driving the thing.

I keep hearing good things about that era of Buick Rendezvous vehicles. They knocked it out of the park with that model; it's indestructible, although I still think the thing is ugly.

Better watch what you say, if you get corona and need a ventilator you will be dam glad GM made one. I would hate to have to depend on Ford quality to save my life.

I bought one GM ever. 98 Buick Regal. It caught fire in the Morgantown Sam's Club parking lot. Only had it for like 4 months.

My wife refuses to even consider another GM. Can't blame her.

I'm 5 for 5 on Fords. 2 were totaled in accidents with zero injuries sustained. (Totaling a 5+ year old Ford Taurus doesn't take much.) 3 went 150,000 miles plus. I will probably stick with Ford until they run out of sedans to buy. I refuse to buy an SUV/crossover.

Why are we not forcing the production act on BMW, Mercedes, Honda and Toyota manufacture cars here? Before you say ‘Merica First, we are bailing out the cruise ship industry like Carnival and they are not an American company.

Where did you see that the cruise lines are getting bailed out? Everything I’ve read in the media and in the bill pretty much shuts them out.

I’ve had a 99 Silverado since it was new and would drive it to California and back without a worry in the world.

I will never buy one again!

It is kind of bothersome that after the govt bailed them out the way they did not that long ago that they would be greedy (this is what I'm gathering.... wasn't privy to the negotiations) and delay things like this essentially holding sick Americans hostage.

Yes, I agree. Screw em.

Two sides to every story, here's yours:

"We know you are a flaming Neo-Con but can you give up the hateful indignation for just a few minutes please. You're not always right just because of your sanctimonious selfishness and singlemidedness"

See that!

I don't see him throwing in people's faces like coal does though.

As he wrote, coal makes some excellent sports related posts. Wish we all could leave politics out of things here but I know it will never happen.

Not all but specifically Carnival is reported to be eligible. The reason used is that they employ a lot of Americans and they do have their operations based in the Miami but they are on paper a Panamanian company.

I love how the pro business, anti-socialism crowd is mad that a private business didn't voluntarily shut down and do a 180 of their business model and cheer the government stepping in to direct how they will operate. Truly strange times.

If that’s true force them to register in the US to get any aid

It's not a pro business crowd so much as a pro Trump crowd. Trump said hes mad at GM therefore they hate GM.

Never mind the actual situation or facts or logic...if he doesn't like something they dont like that thing. It's that easy.

We've never had a leader that only thinks about himself. Regardless of policy we've always had leaders that put the country first.

His priorities are only the second biggest problem with this presidency. The biggest is the blind devotion of his supporters that would see him shoot someone on 5th Avenue and wouldn't hold him to account for it. And he knows it.

What caliber would he use ? It matters ....

Second Amendment allows him the chance to do that.

Have bought nothing but Jeep in the last 23 years. Still own my 1997 Jeep Cherokee and now have a 2019 Jeep Latitude. Have had no issues with either. I am hopeful the 2019 last as long as the 1997 model.

Previous owned...
Chevy Chevette (thing was a freaking tank)
Chevy S10 (loved this one always wished I had never gotten rid of it)
Dodge Daytona
Toyota Camry
Ford Taurus
97 Jeep Cherokee (still have it)
2019 Jeep Latitude

American cars suck any way. German is the way to go. Got my first Audi Q7 3 years ago, and just got the new 2020 Q7. The tech is awesome. Quattro is awesome...no issues driving in the snow. Optional 3rd row is useful too.

Wife always went Mercedes, but opted with the Escalade a few years ago, which is obnoxious, and the drive sucked. It was big and nice inside, but I hated driving that thing. She went back to Mercedes. Got the GLS 450 and it drives like a car and can still handle any off-road conditions. Not as big, but no one really needs anything the size of an Escalade unless you have 4+ kids.

The only way I’d buy American again is if I bought a pick up. Seriously looked at GMC Sierra Denali. That truck was great.

Disagree. I have three kids and two dogs and are already outgrowing ours (sequoia).

Its called national pride. When your back is against wall you would hope everyone would "circle the wagons" and help your county.

The one sided story states that GM agreed to 40,000 at x price but now GM can only do 6,000 but can do more if the price goes up.
Nothing like believing a Twitter ******* over anything else.

When is this cult going to drink the koolaid, or are they waiting to get plagued to the next level?

Im not pro Trump. Im pro America and anti China. Im an independent that does not buy into the Neo Con Republican party or the current far left George Soros Dem party. Im a fan of a respectful, humble, but take no crap America, fan of making sure the union worker can send his kids to college, or letting its people make its own decisions or speak freely. Im also a fan of not having a media spin the news(and yes Fox spins just as bad as CNN). Its time we come together as a country to solve a major problem.

At some point the Dems need to figure out how they let a reality TV star get elected and it was not Russia(that is an excuse so no one has to self evaluate).

Drivetrain is indestructible. Nice interiors. Better looking than its sister vehicle the Pontiac Aztek. I had the Tiger Woods edition, the one he drove through the French Quarter in the commercial.
