Been a loyal GM customer since ‘98. Owned 5 previous GM’s and have one now. Very disappointed they are not full filling the promises they made. Depending on the outcome of this, my next two vehicles will be Fords.I will never buy one again!
I've said that for 45 years....I will never buy one again!
The one sided story states that GM agreed to 40,000 at x price but now GM can only do 6,000 but can do more if the price goes up.why on God's green Earth would people be mad about a company making ventilators? If anything, you would think it'd be opposite. Cheering them on, celebrating them, embracing them on trying to make critical medical machines that can save lives. Very confusing.
Do you want to hear GMs side of the story or are you good with what has been reported? We know you are a flaming liberal but can you give up the hate for just a few minute please. I actually like your BB updates but please let your hate go for a minute.
I'm good with let's just get thru this. We can go back to the BS politics after ........ BTW none of this is GM's fault they didn't ask for this. WE all didn'tDo you want to hear GMs side of the story or are you good with what has been reported?
Oh, so they are pissed at GM for only doing it to make money and not help people? That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the clarityThe one sided story states that GM agreed to 40,000 at x price but now GM can only do 6,000 but can do more if the price goes up.
I agree with you but It’s to get through this with false information.I'm good with let's just get thru this. We can go back to the BS politics after ........ BTW none of this is GM's fault they didn't ask for this. WE all didn't

I ran my 2007 Toyota Tacoma until 2019 and put 238,000 miles on it.I owned GM cars for about 25 years. The first 23 years I had no complaints. The I bought a brand new Buick with 12 miles on the odometer, and in 2 years I replaced the water pump, transmission, freeze plugs (yes, you read that right), various engine parts and finally replaced the engine with a rebuilt one and sold it the same day.
Next day, I bought a Toyota sedan, drove it for 400,000 miles and have bought two Toyota trucks since then. I've put over 500,000 miles on those trucks combined, and the only problem I've with with any of them was clutch in the gear shift of the sedan. Toyota fixed that for free in about an hour.
Oh yeah, they all tended to run out of gas once in a while. I can't imagine buying anything else ever again.
not a good PR move and it seems lots of folks in that state are playing politics with the fluI will never buy one again!
but its time to put politics to the side and "get'er done". GM and the Gov of Michigan are just kind of a bummer right now. Move on....lets solve this problem....people need to keep their eye on the ball. The flu is our problem not one another.I'm good with let's just get thru this. I think the auto industry was the only bailout in 08 where the government actually lost money. The much bitched about banking bailout, resulted in the government getting all of their money back plus additional billions.didn’t we the people give the auto industry a bailout in 2008 for 80 bill? Think the auto industry owes one
Bought a GMC Acadia about 8 years ago. It seemed like a really nice auto for about 2 1/2 years and then everything started going wrong with it. Mechanic told me to get rid of it; said they were always in his shop. My wife had wanted it but wasn’t hard convincing her to go back to Toyota. She loves her Highlander that is 5+ years old with 120k+miles. I got 280k miles out of my last Camry, nearly issue free.I got a new GMC Sierra and it seems to be a really nice truck. The tailgates are sweet.

Lmao!!Doesn't matter how many they make, would end up recalling 70% after the first month anyways.

I can't help but to think that you'd get a much superior product out of Mercedes. My wife and I own a Mercedes E350 and a Cadillac Escalade. Why are we not forcing the production act on BMW, Mercedes, Honda and Toyota manufacture cars here? Before you say ‘Merica First, we are bailing out the cruise ship industry like Carnival and they are not an American company.
1% comment :joy: Bernies coming for youI can't help but to think that you'd get a much superior product out of Mercedes. My wife and I own a Mercedes E350 and a Cadillac Escalade.
Both have great "curb appeal." They each serve a different role for us as well, but my wife opts for the chrome-slathered Escalade with its near-obnoxious presence. The Russian gypsy in her gravitates toward "big and sparkly."
However, when you're behind the wheel of each vehicle – two different experiences. The engineering, drivability and virtually every fine detail is far superior in the Mercedes. To that point, Mercedes-Benz blows every other vehicle I've ever driven out of the water, and it's not very close.
I've had 2 Mercedes-Benz vehicles to this point, and zero issues with either of them.

Wife's got the E350 Cab and I drive the Mazda CX5. It may be the best mid-size SUV I've ever had, just does everything right.I can't help but to think that you'd get a much superior product out of Mercedes. My wife and I own a Mercedes E350 and a Cadillac Escalade.
