UL getting better every game. FSU has good guards but nothing too handle their big guys.

When the Cards are allowed to play that hack and slap D in the Chicken Shack, they can beat anyone in the country.

XRM didn't play tonight. It was still a nice game on UL's part. Pitino has his rag tag bunch playing some good ball. I'm interested to see how they do over the next couple weeks.
Pretty easy start to conference play for them, loaded with a bunch of bad to mediocre teams. That won't be the case in Feb. Then again, with the exception of UNC, the ACC is full of bad to mediocre teams. I know the linebeard's love to trash the SEC, but the ACC is not very good this year. UNC is the only elite team in that conference. UL is gonna get their a$$es handed to them quite a few times next month, especially on the road. Can't wait.
Cards may lose only 1-2 more games in the regular season. They could win the ACC Tourney with the right break. Definite Final Four capable team of they play defense like they are now. Or allowed to play it.

The best thing about UL play of late is the players are actually listening to the scouting reports and responding with a executable plan. To me, Snider is the barometer. If he plays well, UL is going to win. Lots of tools in this toolbox. It takes luck and matchups, but there isn't anyone in the country that should scare UL or UK right now. Could not say that last year.

I dislike UL as much as anyone.....but the fact is, they are beating the teams they should beat. I wish UK was doing the same
And all the teams they are beating are at home. They are 4-1 in conference and have beaten Wake, NC State, Florida State and Pitt.
Their combined conference records are 8-16
And they lost that road game. They have actually played two road games in the ACC, are are 1-1. Look at their schedule. Total fraud. I see 21-10 as the final record, 22-9 best case with a very real chance at 20-11.

I don't have a problem with playful names for the Yum Center or Hack and Slap. But I understand what you're saying. Trust me there are plenty of us that are just as tired of it as you.
They have been one of the best road teams in the country over the last 5 or 6 years. I don't recall their road record from last year, but, their last few years in the Big East they were the best road team in the conference, and it wasn't even close. Can't really count their year in the AAC.

I usually stay out of UL threads, but I'll say this. When I look at the ACC this year I see UNC, and a large pack behind them. UL could very well end up 2nd. Everyone but they and UNC already have at least two losses, Duke 3. Looks like the rest of them will beat each other up leaving UNC standing alone at the top. I look at it this way. The better their RPI the better our win over them looks. Things like that could very well be relevant to any post season hopes this UK team has.
A dumb username like "Derville" is very 3rd grade like. Are you enjoying your snow days off from school, little Johnny? That grammar is something you would see out of a 3rd grader as well.
