Today's game was obviously an outlier, and had way more to do with the circumstances surrounding Riley.....And like most Big Ten fans, I realize that the Big Ten...particularly the BIG Ten West needs Nebraska back to where they were at 15-20 years ago. I hope your new AD can get Frost (because HE will get this done) AND can also somehow work with our AD to keep our game on Black Friday after 2019. I would LOVE for our game to have some real national impact...where both teams come in, and the? I really hope that 2015 was not our only chance to do something like that...but 7-5 sure seems to happen more often than not for our kids.

Yep. From a strength of league perspective, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Iowa need to carry the flag for the B1G West. Trying to justify Northwestern being competitive in the B1G just doesn't work that well.

They've all shown they can beat the big boys from the East, but finishing the year 7-5 or 8-4 isn't going to impress anyone.
