Solich had the same problem once he ran out of TO recruits.Pelini's second year with Callahan's talent was pretty good - ranked #14 in the year end polls, beat Oklahoma, came within a hair of winning the Big 12 championship, demolished Arizona in the Holiday Bowl. That was the peak of Pelini. Once the Callahan talent was gone, Pelini's teams weren't nearly as impressive (barely top 25 or unranked).
