Reading the bigger, faster, stronger thread set me to thinking.

Those are all critical elements but doesn't quite translate to Frost Fast. I just have a feeling last year was a get acquainted time for the offense. As I remember UCF offense running much faster tempo wise.

Anyway, came across this article on a clinic Frost conducted at UCF

Hope we can be close to the goals espoused.

I like hearing about some Xs and Os along with concepts for practice etc.

Let’s hope this year we start to see Frost’s master plan really come together. He’s hungry, players are hungry, fans are hungry.

I think we definitely will. Last year Adrain Martinez was a true freshman that didn’t play a down of football his senior year in high school. Frost had to hold back some on offense. This year he should be allowed to dam near open up the play book completely.

We will still have youth on offense and defense, but for the most part we should see solid football throughout the season with few hiccups. But the team should take a collective, overall step forward in every area. Darrion Daniels is going to be a HUGE addition, bigger then most of us realized. Last year our defense was really hampered down because of a lack of a true, good NT. This year we will have two in the Daniels brothers. GBR

I believe it was Frost who said, Martinez put on weight and basically he has access to the whole playbook now. Even more so than what Mariota had. Due to Mariota size, Frost didn't let him do certain things because risk of injury. Apparently he isn't as concerned about that with Martinez.

Exactly....!!! Our offense is going to be scary good this year. We will easily put 30-50 points on teams this year. Mark it down!

I remember the 90's NU teams being 3 and 4 deep across the board. Until we get there, I will keep this years expectations at 9-10 wins.

I'd rather he not put on much more weight. He has good speed and is a natural runner as well as being a good passer.

Hoping to see them play fast and get turnovers on D. Want to see improved clock management too. After winning 8 games the past two seasons I’d love to see them get 8 this year. Slowly rebuilding the foundation for a brighter future!

In 2016, UCF averaged 350 yards and 24 PPG.

True Freshman QB Mackenzie Milton threw for just under 2,000 yards with 10 TDs and 7 Interceptions.

Their leading rusher in 2016 had 495 yards rushing. Frost recruited over him and he was relegated to 4th string by 2017.

Their #2 and #3 leading receivers in 2016, both starters, were also overtaken by newcomers and relegated to reserve roles in 2017.

In the 2016 and 2017 recruiting classes, Frost and staff brought in the following Skill players to UCF:

QB Mackenzie Milton
RB Adrian Killins
RB Otis Anderson
RB Greg McCrae (Walk on brought in by Frost who ran for 1200 yards in 2018)
WR Dedrick Snelson
WR Gabriel Davis
WR Marlon Williams

By year two, those players above accounted for UCF's #1 Passer, top 3 rushers, #2,#3, and #4 receivers.

The 2017 team averaged 530 yards and 47 points per game.

Players brought in by Frost in 2018-19 to Nebraska:

QB Adrian Martinez
RB Maurice Washington
RB Dedrick Mills
RB Rahmir Johnson
WR Andre Hunt
WR Wandale Robinson
WR Miles Jones
WR Demarioyan Houston
WR Jeremy Nance
WR Darien Chase

I think its completely reasonable that Nebraska makes a similar jump "offensively" from year one to year two.
