leading a team in tackles is performing at a very high level?Avery Roberts is leading a P5 team in tackles and is an ILB, which we desperately need. So OSU coaches could motivate him to perform at a very high level, but Frost and Co couldn't? Not a good look.

would you say the same about mo barry, who's doing the exact same thing?
so, leading a team in tackles is actually underperforming? If Mo had a good DC, he'd be all conference.

got it.
i'm glad you see that your argument makes no sense, just like the rest of us.That makes no sense. Change yo avatar, babygirl. I still own you.

you said he's playing at a very high level because he's leading his team in tackles. That still makes no sense. Roberts is an impact player. Only you would try to use that to bash one of the leaders on our own defense.

i'm simply pointing out that the two have nothing to do with one another. one can lead his team in tackles and still be an average player. only you would not be able to understand something so simple.
have a great day!
37 solo tackles and only 2 games left.
barry has more tackles and more solo tackles. The top linebackers are in the 90's, 80's, and 70's in solo tackles ith 2 games left.
He'd be an upgrade over Honas and Miller at the very least.
Honas would start over Roberts. Honas has the same amount of solo tackles.
next time you try to hype up a transfer make sure you have a damn clue what you are talking about.
Avery wouldn't be a starting linebacker for a single Big Ten West team.
I've watched Roberts when he plays. He's not as good as you think. I do see that it appears that now he's at least starting. That kid leaving had more to do with our former interim head coach tampering with him than it did Scott Frost.Roberts has a waaaaayyyyy higher ceiling than Honas. He's already just as good or better. You'd have to be a damn fool not to recognize that. Par for the Uber course.

EVERYTHING you just posted is false but recruiting rankings don't measure everything. Not ever 5.7 3 star is created equal especially in what's between the ears. I've commented on many occasions that we have too walk ons in the 2 deep to be consistently successful against good teams.Count dingle among the cletii that ignore reality, decry recruiting rankings as fake news, and believe walkons will lead us to championships I guess.
Well this was an interesting comment looking backOr Matt Ruhl at Baylor??
Yeah. I have a recording of Tom telling Bill it might be a good idea to extend Scott’s contract.Anything to substantiate that claim, or are you spreading rumors?
Forgive me as I don't really understand what you two are talking about but exhuming a thread from 2019 is some 27 yr married wife level of dredging up the past, no?

I like Frost and believe he will be here a long time and will be successful
I am not surprised that the resident brainlet was doing his usual toe the company line schtick with Frost as well. Can’t wait for the smart comments about this extension the first time something goes wrong today. I bet we have several on this board already brainstorming.
First, it’s Rhule. Hired in 2017, went 1-11 and 7-6 in his first two years, yikes Debbies would have wanted him fired.
Fleck, 5-7, 7-6 first two years. Again, sad Debbies probably calling for firings.
Can Frost get 3 years too? That would be swell.
dumbassCool. I’m also in the boat that this shows a commitment to the current coach; part of the equation for selling yourself to a recruit. Selling the program to a kid who wasn’t even a thought, the last time you won a conference title, is becoming more and more difficult. Recruiting successes will become more frequent once improvement on the field is shown. We have to start somewhere.
Our current coach’s contract is longer than frosts was with the extension, with the exact same reasons cited as to whydumbass
You might want to look at who he was quoting. Our current coach’s contract is longer than frosts was with the extension, with the exact same reasons cited as to why
Something to consider when throwing stones
