Everybody in Nebraska knows how tough the Niobrara-Verdigre Fighting Cougars are at home...

...wherever the hell that is.
Years ago a car I was driving crapped out, managed to make it to a gas station in St. Edward

Gas station dude said "Well, I can call the car guy in town, he might be able to help you"

About 15 minutes later a dude in a golf cart shows up, slamming a beer, drives me to his off and said "We gotta hurry, the tailgating for the HS game is starting"

Dude had me sign something and I rented a Ford Taurus. 10 minutes later and that entire town would have been shut down and I would have been stuck there.

Just got back from Hastings St. Cecilia's vs Wahoo Neumann. Really good game. Neumann kid who verbaled to Nebraska is a beast, but they don't have much else. He scored all three of their touchdowns including a 95 yarder on a swing pass, but St. C. pushed their D-line around. Neumann scored a TD to take a 3 point lead with 6:30 left, but St. C. went on an 88 yard drive and scored with 30 seconds left. Final 29-25 St. C.

So BW is scoring twice or less vs every team with a pulse…and that’s with at least 4 DI dudes on offense.

Is that good?

Looks like their recruiting classes/portal recruits haven’t panned out, or haven’t been developed, or both.

Went to my old high school's homecoming tonight. Got slaughtered and it was hard to watch lol. Saw a few old friends at least and the food menu has improved since I was a student. About the only positives I can come up with because the football team is god awful.
